I found most of the stores, plus a few extra, but my mother-in-law didn't really find anything she wanted 🤷
but hey, my husband picked up a shirt, so that's the main thing 😁
thanks a ton for the help 😘

photo 🙂 😛

Perhaps I might be able to offer some assistance as well 🤷

Are you heading out today?

Ladies, I have no idea who is handling the floral arrangements around here, but if you value your sanity—just stay far away from Dad. I stopped by yesterday to pick up a bouquet, and frankly, I have never encountered such sheer lack of professionalism in my life. The man’s attitude was so infuriatingly primitive that my blood pressure hit the ceiling; I was practically seeing red. 😠

These photos are stunning—honestly, this is exactly how I envision my own setup looking 👍. Those glass containers with the ribbon lids are also quite lovely for serving things like dry 🎉
.
I’ve already banned those little finger sandwiches from the menu, though we can include a bit of everything else—with a heavy emphasis on Canadian pastries 😍😍😍
. And yes, I’m personally craving some gourmet donuts, but everyone keeps insisting they aren't "wedding appropriate" 🤷

Lea's exclusive scoop in San Bernardino 👍

Laura Clark5 said:I’ve been mulling over this idea lately—instead of just scattering cookies all over the tables, what if we arranged them alongside some fresh fruit? You know, more like a high-end buffet spread

The thing is, everyone I talk to is trying to convince me that it’s a terrible idea altogether 😕
Is that actually true? I’d love to hear your honest thoughts on this 😉

Well, I’m sticking to my guns—this is how it’s going to be. 👍 To me, it’s much better than having greasy plates at every single table where people are passing them around and making a mess... you know how it goes. Plus, I have the perfect amount of space for this, and it looks great. 🙂
Currently, I'm just debating with my mother over whether they should be sliced, bite-sized, or larger pieces—but we'll figure that part out eventually. 😁

Honestly, you really are my most reliable source of information 😘

Does anyone happen to know someone who rents out tents?
I'm looking for something small—just a temporary setup to put out in front of my building when they come to pick me up..

Yes, they’re going to make some pictures for us too. All we have to do is write "Thank You" on them along with our names and the date. The girls will just pop them into envelopes and that’ll be that—which, honestly, works perfectly fine for me. 🙂

And what about yours?
I agree—if you stay mindful of certain details, everything should turn out just fine in the end.😉
Is Mickey going to be handling the thank-you notes for you?
My uncle works at a local print shop, so he’ll be knocking out my invitations in the next few days. They probably won't look exactly how I originally envisioned them—but then again, it's just an invitation, isn't it? Most people will likely glance at it once and toss it in the bin anyway.🤷 We managed to save at least fifty bucks this way.🙂

Angela Ross3 said:Wait, how many people were we talking about again?

That’s just the venue fee—it can hold about 350 people, maybe even 400 if you open up the extra section to expand the space. As for my plans? I'm looking at a crowd of roughly 200.

Expensive 😲
We’re footing the bill for $10,000—that includes all the staff, plus our own food and drinks. Sure, the ship is docked in a smaller city, but even so 🤷

feralgull17 said:mine got his suit at Men's Wearhouse in Chicago, and everything else at Target. It wasn't too pricey, ended up being around $1667 all together. and I know in some parts of the South you can find suits for like 150-200 bucks.🙏 there's a decent shop on one of the floors in the downtown mall that carries formal wear. and, obviously, check the flea markets. as for our group, my dad and brother picked theirs up at Nordstrom. those suits were about $833 without the shirt. those are the better ones. of course, they have stuff for $300 too.
here's Christina's number: 555-012-8470. she lives in a neighborhood near the local elementary school. an install is 150, and gel is $33. she does killer work, my nails usually last me a full month. 👍

Great, she's close to me too. I'll give 🙂
a call.

feralgull17 said:if you hit up a local farmers market in the South, you can grab a pack of 100 balloons easily $6.75. I haven't checked the prices lately though. You can snag about 10 bows at a time too $2.75. They have satin ribbon by the $3.25 10m roll (up to 5cm wide), and they basically have every single color and shade you could ever want
. I'm guessing you mean Slough? 🤷

Yes, thanks for the heads-up 🙂. We’ve been trying to get organized for a few days now, but things just aren't falling into place... where did you pick up your suits? Is there actually any decent selection there?
I've never heard of Christina—not that it's surprising since I don't get my nails done—but I'll probably go for a classic French manicure that day. Does she work privately? Could you send me her number via DM?
Thanks 🙂

Super 👍

Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up some bows, balloons, and similar decor at Bed Bath & Beyond?

James Lopez8 said:Well, I’ve been doing some searching through the local Walmart, Kiki, IKEA, Home Depot, PepsiCo, Kroger, and even Buffalo Wild Wings over here in my area, but I haven't had any luck finding any green ribbons anywhere. The tiny bit I did manage to spot at Target was priced at about 8-$$3.00 per piece, which seems a bit steep. I haven't seen them anywhere in Canada either, mostly because I wasn't quite sure where to start looking—maybe in one of those massive supermarkets or perhaps at a local farmers' market? I eventually stumbled upon some near a vendor selling curtains and home decor, but I couldn't find any bows at all. It's a bit frustrating, so I might just try heading over to Canada again tomorrow.😁

Have you ever stepped foot in Art? Perhaps there might be something worth finding there. 🤷

Don't mention it.😉
I don't have all the specifics—I just happened to stumble upon that site recently. You'll find an email address and a cell number listed below; once you've had a chance to look into the situation, let us know what you find.😁

Edit: It might actually be this guy—check out the first post here...

Ryan Rivera4 said:Does anyone know where I can rent a Maggie Sottero gown in the Midwest, and what kind of price tag am I looking at?

You can find them at Lisa's shops in St. Louis and PZ—though as for the actual rental rates, I haven't the slightest clue.🤷

Fine, I'm heading to the Fox today regardless.😁
