As for the mods, someone really needs to keep an eye on them to make sure they're actually pulling their weight...
Back when I dealt with cardboard boxes, I always knew I earned my keep, but this mod is messing up. They moved this thread to health instead of geology, but since there isn't a specific subforum for that, I guess science was the next best thing. And no, I wasn't talking about hearing loss—I wear a hearing aid...
Honestly, I couldn't care less about the Mayan calendar anymore. It's just pure Mason stuff, and even if it were true, all people would do is try to exploit the date...
Canada is nice, but the Midwest is beautiful too, right at the heart of everything...
I suggest you take a closer look at what your neighbors are up to, as well as any recent changes occurring in the immediate vicinity of your building. Personally, I have no reason to doubt you; it is entirely possible you aren't imagining things. Much like yourself, I am quite sensitive to mechanical vibrations in the environment (though I am certainly not hard of hearing—quite the opposite, I possess an exceptional sense of hearing). Since you live on the 10th floor, resonant amplification of vibrations from sources on lower floors, or even from the surrounding area, is a distinct possibility. Natural micro-earthquakes are the last thing I would look toward for an explanation here. Yes, the moderator(s) made mistakes, but they are merely human beings.😉

I really love people who think a shaking bed means the whole world is falling apart. 😁 Is there even a name for that kind of phenomenon?
