America vs. South Korea - Feb 2, 2006 (3:45 PM) in Other Sports ·
I just had to jump in here and say I am SOOOOOOOOooooooo much feeling this right now

Changing my profile pic today...
You can just tell when someone’s totally burnt out deep down... honestly, don't be mad if I end up lifting someone else's avatar for a bitdiv>

Gonna go watch, I'll check back in towards the end...

A win is basically in the bag, honestly, just praying we can tighten up the defense and actually play some decent ball so we aren't constantly sweating it in the next games.👍

Roger Allen3 The user said:I honestly feel like Ivano’s gonna be the one to pull us out of this absolute mess. Like, he’s just got that vibe, you know? It's like when everything is falling apart and you're looking for any kind of light at the end of the tunnel, and suddenly there's this guy who actually seems to have a plan. I mean, things are pretty rough right now, but I'm holding onto that little bit of hope. He might just be the guy. 👋

Look, Ivan can't possibly lose as much as we're able to rake in... it just doesn't add up.

Honestly, I don't give a damn. I'm proud to be an American, truly. I know my time on this earth is gonna be short, but whatever... it doesn't even matter.

Honestly, I wouldn't trade my peace of mind for anything... all this constant bickering and stressing out over nothing? No thanks. Not worth it.

Man, whenever I hear Juju and Boban's names come up, my heart just swells up way more than I can handle. It’s wild.😉

Look, guys, honestly? It doesn't even matter if those Mexicans go down. I'm not even sweating that part. The only thing that actually matters—the one thing we really need to focus on—is finally stepping up and playing the game the right way. We just need to start playing like we're supposed to.

You're moving too slow, man. His ex already took care of him. Whatever, now he's just gonna be stuck drowning in paperwork. 😳

It’s not like I’m slow or anything, the damn forum is just straight-up glitching out...

At first, I actually thought this was just high-level constructive spam that would keep the feed spinning, but now I'm seeing it for what it really is... it's just straight-up nonsense.😁

Does anyone actually know if Dzomba’s gonna be back at 100%, or is he just sitting this tournament out?

I honestly don't know what's up with it lately. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Like, a couple of days ago it was totally dead all day, and now it’s just constantly glitching out and acting up...

At first, I thought my DSL was acting funky, but then I noticed everything else loads perfectly fine—except for this damn forum.

James Vaughn3 said:it’s a disaster, I’d go as far as to say we’re losing this

Man, talk about "losing." It's not even like we're missing out on a 0.5% gain here... honestly, they're playing like absolute garbage. I'm actually more pissed at our own guys because they're just completely screwing themselves over, and honestly, I'm right there with them, just totally messing everything up....

Just deal with this spotter already.😁

Does anyone know if there's like, a permanent lifetime ban for people like him?😍

Look, I don't want to be the guy spreading doom and gloom, but this whole situation feels just like when the US national soccer team got absolutely toyed with back in the day. You know that feeling? They’d spend half the match messing around, and then the second they actually conceded a goal, they’d try to flip the switch and play for real—but by then, the clock had already run out and there was just no time left to fix the mess....

We really need to take this as a lesson for the upcoming games. I've been saying it for two matches now: we can't keep playing like this. I'm really hoping the third game isn't just more of the same garbage and constant freaking out.

I honestly don't get it, man. I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering why the coach is keeping our center on the wing??
Why are we making life so damn hard for ourselves by playing a man down? It’d be so much better if Horvat stepped up, because the center is totally struggling out there, and it's forcing everyone else to play out of position on the perimeter...

The defense works fine when we're playing a 5-on-1 setup, but as soon as that one guy breaks away or they start running those screens, the whole thing just falls apart.

Look, I’m not saying we should go easy on the Mexicans or give them any kind of advantage. Honestly? If we lost, I’d actually be okay with it just so they could learn a little humility or whatever. But man, I don't even know what's going on with the coaching staff lately—it's like watching a disorganized high school JV team where nobody knows their assignment, or like if the Lakers just stopped playing defense entirely...

We can't let things slide like this. Have you guys seen our defensive rotations from the last few games? We've been playing a pathetic 5-on-1 scheme half the time.

1:13 PM...

Man, this is absolute garbage. They’re playing like they don't even have wings or something, just total amateurs out there, while our kicker is sitting pretty at 4/4...

Get this guy off the field already. Let him just shoot penalties from the sidelines, because honestly, he’s clearly not ready and he's just torturing himself and the rest of us fans...
I mean, you can see it—he can't even get a decent burst of speed going. Just put someone like LeBron James in the game instead.

Man, come on guys, there’s still like 13 minutes left on the clock and nobody’s saying anything... I’m gonna head out and check back in around the half-hour mark to give you my take on how things are going. Fingers crossed it’s actually good news...

LET'S GO AMERICA, NO GIVING UP NOW!

Gonna go ahead and grab 🙂

honestly, might be better than those cheesy local commercials—we’re a small crew, sure, but we’re all right here on the US web forums.

Kevin Long20 said:Just let him heal up. There's zero point forcing him back out there when he's clearly banged up and just isn't playing right...

I'm with you, man. It makes no sense to just have him sitting on the bench looking useless when he's obviously not ready to compete or hold his own...

Mirza is a legend, seriously, but we shouldn't push him or ourselves because he's definitely not at a hundred percent right now...

Honestly, if it were up to me, I'd throw the bench players in today to go hammer them, then bring the starters in right at the end to close it out.

I’m just hoping for a solid game and that they finally decide to actually use the wingers. We’re gonna need some heavy hitters out there today—guys like Dominikovic, Goluza, and Spoljaric—if we want to pull off this win...

Honestly, if we want to make our lives any easier, we’ve gotta tighten up the defense. Besides, the Americans have a pretty sluggish backline, so scoring shouldn't be too much of a headache unless our usual trio decides to go on another one of those streaks where they miss 95% of their shots. That would be a massive brain fart on their part.

If he actually pulls off today's play—or even if he just goes full beast mode and takes on the goalie one-on-one in a breakaway (hopefully scoring, lol)—I’m putting Dom on my profile pic tomorrow. 😁

Man, if everything goes down like you're saying, I'm totally stealing that avatar from you 😘

Drive99 said:Dominikovic is gonna be Player of the Game tomorrow, man. I’m talking 10 blocks and hitting 8 out of 10 shots... and yeah, most of them will be easy fast breaks 🤣 😬

I don't know, man, it's not just about all those blocks. Personally? I love it when a player flies out to the 9-meter line and shuts down a shooter before they even get a chance. Because when you block someone like that, you're basically doing double duty—you kill the shot, and plus, the goalie can't see a thing through their hands. It makes the goal pretty much inevitable at that point. So, people need to stop trying to reinvent the wheel here. Just stick to that classic defense style that Coach Cervar pioneered back in the day.

Man, I'm checking out too, guys...

We’ll make up for that handball disaster tomorrow...

I'm crossing my fingers for a win, but honestly? I'm expecting them to give the starters a rest and let some of the bench players get some meaningful minutes...

Does anyone actually know how long it takes for someone like Dzombi to fully bounce back from an injury like that?

In my opinion, we really need to have Dominikovic out there tomorrow—he's basically our heavy hitter, our secret weapon.😁

You guys have gone totally off the rails😈 Look, I'm not trying to clog up the feed with useless posts here😁

Seriously though, just delete this spam, I was literally about to type the exact same thing...

Man, once these people start getting loud tomorrow, we're gonna get hit with a lifetime ban from all the sports threads, and then who's actually gonna be left to post? I mean, you could probably count us on one hand, honestly.

If he’s actually gay, then honestly, for my sake, 😍
just go volunteer yourself and find out if Ex is actually bringing the heat 😛

Like I said, I don't think he's gay, but since you're so convinced, I'm just saying... go over there and run some tests yourself 😘
