Man, they’re playing just like those last few games, except our defense actually looks solid for once...
The wings? It's like they don't even exist. Nobody's making anything happen on the line or out wide, and honestly, the refs totally screwed us out of a goal. I really hope we don't end up losing because of that.

Lac hasn't done a damn thing today, and neither has Metlicic—besides that one lone goal, they're basically ghosts.

So, who's actually gonna step up and lead the charge for this second half?
They aren't gonna walk away with this one because they’re playing like absolute garbage. If even half of them had actually made it through the qualifiers, they’d be sitting at +5 right now, but this idiot probably won't change his ways... I mean, seriously, what he’s doing defensively is just straight-up impossible to watch.

I don't get it—if things aren't working out, why don't they just start taking shots at the keeper? He’s bound to miss eventually, and then they could actually turn things around and make some real plays.😁
I'm pretty sure we're pulling it off tomorrow, and man, I really wish we were facing the Spaniards instead.
Mod, honestly, just ban anyone who starts a massive flame war over this loss... unless they’re talking about Vanja, then I guess we can let it slide.
Man, I am just so incredibly frustrated right now....
I honestly don't get what they're thinking, it's like they have no clue what they're doing out there....

It feels like they're playing absolutely terrible, and if we end up losing this thing to them, I think we're all gonna lose our minds...
And don't even get me started on Coach Miller—I don't know how to put this, but how do you go fifteen minutes without scoring two goals? It's ridiculous...

Just look at the scoreboard: we were up 9-6, and now suddenly it's 12-10 in their favor....

Look, we can still pull this off, but damn it, Miller seriously needs to get our wingers into the game if we want any chance of actually playing decent ball.
man, I'm pretty bummed out... Vanja, where'd you go??😬
Jalnuški Diletant said:Yeah...

You’re gonna stop them... 🙄 🙄 🙄

Look, I’m not saying I’ll personally step in and stop them, but I’m definitely expecting our guys to absolutely wreck France. Like, just total chaos so they don't even know which way is up. At that point, even God won't be able to bail them out.
Just saying right off the bat, if those Spanish officials try to tell us we need to give players more authority just so they don't get screwed over—and then use that as an excuse to let the refs kill our chances of winning and basically ban us from competing for the next 50 years...

I'm being dead serious here, totally straight-faced, and most importantly, I've got a clear head when I say this 😁 because I am honestly just done with being robbed by those Spanish scammers, for real...

I'm sick of both soccer and basketball where teams just coast through games without actually accomplishing anything...

Just go ahead and deal with that Spanish crap on your own 😈 😈
Just gotta ask, why isn't Valcic playing today???
frozentiger6, why are you still riding for us???😁
And there's only like 13 hours left until kickoff....

I’m expecting a massive win, like +32 points, obviously. And I bet Sole drops 10 goals because those theorists with their little broomstick logic will drive him crazy until he just rips through the entire defense with nothing but pure attitude 😈 and then starts talking trash about seeing who actually has the guts to step up to me.
Jonathan Booth5 said:I mean, Bo probably knows what he’s talking about, he is a former President after all. Okay, maybe not like boldhound8, more like the RSH guy—he’s the one who actually steered us to where we are now today.😬

Plus, you've got all these other commenters just picking on the opposing fans and making jokes so they don't blow things up too early. 😍 🤣 🤣 🤣

Honestly, I don't think we could even survive without our own commentators and their absolute nonsense. It’s basically a tradition at this point in pretty much every sport...

Like, I remember watching F1 once and I swear I jumped out of my skin because the announcer concluded someone had overtaken Schumacher after only two laps...

Or even those big soccer broadcasts where they start talking about some ridiculous stuff like slapping a dead donkey. 🤣 🤣 🤣
No matter how brutal a loss is, those guys' stupidity kind of acts like a balm for the wound...
honestly, getting both wings involved is huge... I really think that's how you win the game...

if Dzomba can play, great, but if not, just put Horvat in there—as long as he doesn't mess things up and keeps Dzomba from being boxed in. We need some order on the field. And yeah, I'm with you guys, the guy's still got some mental stuff going on and is way too worried about his own safety...

I mean, Lac was probably the MVP yesterday when it came to using those wings, but it was one of those things where he only really kicked it into high gear once he hit his limit and had to dig deep...

Man, I gotta be real with you guys, that game had me seriously stressed out. I’m just crossing my fingers that we can tighten things up moving forward...

Dominikovic was an absolute beast out there, but honestly? I didn't see any real chemistry from Urote. It felt more like some weird inside joke between Sterbik and Dzomba than actual teamwork...

My nerves were absolutely shot, but hey, at least we walked away with the win. Not once did I feel like we weren't going to pull it off in the end.

The defense was all over the place. One minute they look like world champions, the next they're a total disaster zone...

So, who's left for the finals? If I get my way, I'm praying for a matchup against Spain...

Whenever I hear the American crowd cheering, it just hits different. It makes me so damn proud to be an American. I wouldn't trade this country for anything, even if I am a huge sucker for the drama of it all.

Seriously though, crushing Spain in the finals would be the highlight of my year. I've got a bit of a grudge against them because it feels like the refs always give them a pass in everything—from basketball to soccer. They always seem to find a way to slide by...

It’s high time our big stars shake things up and finally change their ways.👍
I still believe in our guys, though. These are the kind of people who don't just make history—they rewrite it to suit themselves.

that was back in Portugal, when we took down Germany in the finals

I honestly can't remember who ended up on the roster, but I think they were all...

seriously though, thanks a ton everyone, you guys are hands down the best online crew I could ask for👍 👍 👍 👍

I mean it, I really do love you all here, which is why I figured we could just hang out and swap some thoughts for a bit

Anyway, you thinking about that US National Team vs. Mexico game back in Tunis? You know, the one where Šola pulled off those saves to clinch the win? I think it was 24-23.

Man, there were so many medals flying around I couldn't even tell what was happening, but I remember three years ago, I was out there setting off firecrackers and celebrating harder than I ever have... then by 8:30 PM, I was just sitting there crying my eyes out.

Damn, he was like a brother to me. Now, every time there's a handball game—especially during the finals—I can't help but think of him.😢

Hey everyone, I’m a little late to the party here, but I’ve been sitting with some heavy thoughts lately marking the three-year anniversary of my 24-year-old uncle passing away. It was a freak accident—a collision with a train. We never really got a clear answer on why it happened, because at 1.2 miles the intersection, he apparently ran a red light and just didn't see the train coming. But I have this one detail stuck in my head... right before it happened, his phone lit up with a text saying "The gold is ours." This was right after our guys played an absolute legendary game, so maybe he was just caught up in the moment, reading that message while crossing... 😢

I’m just hoping that this time around, the gold stays ours too. They really are the best in the world.
Honestly, our main job right now is just focusing on the next matchup against the French team, and that's really it. We’ve gotta take this one game at a time, you know? If we start trying to look too far down the road, we might end up spinning our wheels and doing absolutely nothing. And man, if that happens, we're totally screwed—because if we actually make it that far, we better be ready to go all in and make it count.
Jonathan Booth5 said:He looked decent today, though you could tell he was totally intimidated by Šterbik, since he was basically staring him down the whole time. But hey, his wing jumps were actually pretty smooth.

I don't know, man... I wasn't really feeling it personally....

It’s pretty obvious he’s playing it safe, just tiptoeing around like a deer in headlights. I’m not even mad at him, though—you gotta give it to the guy, he's trying, it’s just clearly not working out for him right now....

The penalty shots today were clutch, and we definitely need him for that, but honestly? I don't think he executed a single clean entry. I was watching closely until the 52nd minute...

One time he went for it and just slammed hard onto his back and his good leg, which actually earned us a penalty. Then the second time he tried, he just kind of spun out and missed completely. I don't know if he was trying to pull some weird pirouette mid-air or what, but there definitely wasn't a foul called.

I still lean towards thinking we shouldn't push him too hard; he should probably just stick to the wings. Honestly, props to Lackovic—he was the only one actually feeding Šprem the ball properly.

It was such a contrast from those previous games where Lac was forcing everything because he couldn't find an opening. This time he actually played smart, kept passing to Šprem, and made things a whole lot easier for the rest of the squad.
Alright, I’m jumping in here too just to keep the noise going with you guys...
I honestly couldn't be bothered to read through everything, but I heard someone mention that DJonzo finally got those braces off his muscles. So now I'm sitting here wondering—is he actually 100% cleared and back to normal or what???

I honestly don't get how we're supposed to win a championship playing like this, let alone on the defensive end...
What happens when luck finally runs out and all those lucky bounces stop going our way? We're gonna be in trouble...

It's brutal. Someone please save us 😁
