It’s official: Kubica is confirmed to handle the second and third days of testing. It feels to me like Williams isn't quite where they need to be regarding their driver lineup just yet. Watching Kubica alongside Stroll and Sirotkin should be an interesting thing to follow.
As for McLaren, Hamilton actually called him Dope—which, if you translate it, basically means he's high.🙂 ha ha.
I honestly can't wait for the first tests just to see that gorgeous McLaren and Alonso out on the track. In my estimation, they’re going to be the biggest surprises of the season, much like Leclerc over at Alfa Sauber.
Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull will predictably sit at the top, though I'm giving the edge to Ferkan after catching a glimpse of the car.
Let's get on with the testing already; what is the hold-up?
Just take a look at the sheer beauty of this car in the daylight.
I’m in agreement with Jason Campbell70. McLaren is going to leave you all in the dust, and based on his recent media availability, Alonso looks absolutely fired up—which is precisely when he becomes most dangerous.

And you're in it alongside the author of this piece:
As per usual, there is no point in debating this. It doesn't matter if we're talking about Caster, Camber, toe-in, or toe-out; we are dealing with an utterly incoherent response to Tibi's question, and I don't expect you to grasp why.
If you look at the technical section of the GP1 forums from a few years back, you'll find all the actual answers. You also have your own share of gems there, so perhaps take a trip down memory lane.
Why does this forum allow one individual to operate under two separate profiles??
Well, my situation is slightly different; occasionally, someone else even posts using my own handle! However, the practice of one person utilizing two different nicknames is simply unacceptable.
I appreciate you taking this observation into consideration.
Jason Campbell70 said:Which is pretty obvious from what was provided.
Let’s sum this up: Tibi asks about the mechanics of the Mercedes suspension, and then ruggedhawk20 just blithely claims it's all about Camber.
But you all are clearly geniuses, please, do carry on.
Then, naturally, ruggedhawk20 concludes that he is somehow superior to other sim racers simply because he plays iRacing and happens to have a passion for expensive gear.
Jason Campbell70 said:What exactly was wrong with what he said? Caster and camber are basic concepts for anyone who has ever actually sat down to play a serious driving sim.
I am perfectly aware of what Caster and Camber are, and I know my way around just about every serious racing simulator out there.
Every single suspension setup involves Caster and Camber.
Sebastian Vettel was the world champion back in 2018, I am absolutely certain of that after seeing how Ferrari performed, and whatever!! The man earned it, bravo Ferrari!!!, bravo Vettel!!

Taylor Swift was just a driver for Microsoft, you idiot. Taylor Swift isn't Microsoft. There is absolutely zero connection between her and the 155 DTM, and certainly nothing to do with Julius Caesar.
Meca showed their hand, and frankly, I’m not impressed. It doesn't look like they even attempted to mirror the Ferrari design. The only thing remotely captivating is how the car's fluid lines have been further accentuated by the livery!
Tomorrow, we get a glimpse of the marvel from Maranello, alongside whatever magic Mercedes has cooked up.
I’m feeling particularly optimistic about Ferrari, and you might ask why. It’s simple: the crew has perfectly aligned their wind tunnel simulations with reality, everything is clicking, and frankly, they pioneered the very tech everyone else is currently scrambling to copy.
cosmiccyclist8 said:What a joke, 🤦 next year Ferrari is going to be running Mercedes engines 🤦
Look, I know there was some disagreement regarding the car builds, but let’s be clear: Mercedes actually sought technical guidance from the FCA group during the development of those new diesel engines. In plain terms, FCA sold specific technology over to Mercedes. That's just how it happened.
cosmiccyclist8 said:Wait, when did Alfa Romeo actually get their engine development sorted out? I have this vague memory—maybe I'm just misremembering—of people talking about them making a big comeback last season.
What are you even talking about? Whether you call them Alfa Romeo or Sauber, they are running the latest spec Ferrari engines. Therefore, Alfa Romeo is using their own power units. Ferrari is part of the Fiat group, and Fiat has its hands deep inside that engine design. You could quite literally say Alfa Romeo uses their own engine because Alfa Romeo and Ferrari are essentially one and the same. Razmes ????
If we are going to dig into the deep history, Alfa Romeo and Ferrari are one entity; Ferrari was born out of Alfa Romeo!!.
Fiat, Fiat, and nothing but Fiat built that PU. Just shove that into your fucking heads. If Fiat tells Ferrari to do something, they have to do it. Do you people understand me? For God's sake.
