Has anyone else noticed how my Keratosis pilaris completely vanishes after just a week of soaking up the Sun and hitting the beach every single day? It’s actually wild... though, of course, it always makes its grand reappearance later on.
A close friend of mine dealt with a sebaceous cyst infection that dragged on for an entire year. She actually had to go under the knife twice—and during this most recent trip to the Mayo Clinic, they completely botched the whole thing 🙂 since none of the antibiotics were doing a damn thing anyway (the pus just kept draining and the pain was honestly unbearable). I’m really not sure what kind of advice I can even give you here. Honestly? Your best bet is to just get to a doctor so someone can actually take a look at it. Good luck.
So, I spent basically my entire night falling down a Google rabbit hole researching Keratosis pilaris—for those of you who aren't familiar with what this skin situation actually is. Apparently, there’s a whole crowd of people out there who have actually managed to clear it up using sea buckthorn products—think baths, capsules, body lotions, that kind of thing. The claim is that if you stay consistent and use them daily, those little bumps should eventually just retreat. I know Weleda makes some sea buckthorn stuff, so I might try to track some down. I'll also probably check in with some local herbalists to see about finding juice, tea, or even the actual berries. Oh, and apparently oil pulling is supposed to help too? Honestly, just do a little digging yourselves and give it a shot—what have you got to lose? Catch you all later!
I’ve dealt with this skin situation all over my body, and honestly, it’s been a lifelong struggle—it's pretty demoralizing. 😢When I was a kid, other kids would constantly point out the bumps on my legs, which wasn't exactly the highlight of my childhood. Because of it, I never feel comfortable wearing skirts or shorts during the summer. I’ve tried everything from various scrubs to different creams, but nothing seems to actually work. At this point, I'm just crossing my fingers that someone finally invents a laser treatment specifically for this, so maybe one day I can finally have smooth skin.
Here’s the situation: my brother is 20, and back in December, his driver's license was suspended for nine months because he was caught driving drunk. Naturally—because why follow the rules?—he just kept driving anyway. Fast forward to last week: he’s parked outside a bakery (probably grabbing a snack) standing right next to his car when the cops decide to do a search and a drug test. They found 0.5 grams of marijuana in the vehicle, and his urine test came back positive for both weed and speed. Does anyone actually know what kind of legal nightmare he's looking at for all these violations? Thanks in advance for any insight.
I’ve been battling depression for eight years now, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you can’t just "will" your way out of it alone. Sure, you can try to be more outgoing, sign up for a spin class, take some hip-hop dance lessons, or go hiking on the weekends—you can even give yourself a literal slap on the wrist every time you catch yourself staring at a wall for hours while blasting the same playlist on loop—but none of that actually touches the core issue. You could devour every single self-help book in the local library, too, but honestly? You need something much more heavy-duty to actually kick this thing to the curb. We're talking about something closer to a total brain reprogramming—something that forces you to stop following those broken, destructive patterns once and for all...🤷
