I suppose I should probably get around to putting together that list of people who want to get in on the betting pool, seeing as we did agree that we need at least twelve participants before anyone actually walks away with the prize...

😢 😢 😢

I find myself nodding along with that sentiment; I really do. The real question, though—and perhaps a rather cynical one at that—is whether the sport actually intends to.

As for Senna... may he rest in peace, though I suspect things won't be getting any easier for him, whether we look at last year, or the year before that, or the one before that... and so on, and so forth.

Besides, the man lived for the thrill of the gamble.

Well, you’ve certainly made it clear to everyone here exactly what sort of person you are.
You could have shown a little grace and just let a topic like this breathe without interfering...

My apologies, I was actually trying to address the group...

Sigh...😢

The day that Formula 1 lost its soul and never quite found it again.
How could anyone ever forget...

Well, look at that—hit my 300th post. I really am talking far too much, aren't I?...😁

Heh. Was that... supposed to be a joke?🙂>

Honestly, I haven't the foggiest clue. Something about the Elizabeth Hughes getting all worked up or playing hardball, I suppose. I haven't quite wrapped my head around it, to be perfectly honest. I'm feeling a bit dim-witted tonight—just one of those evenings where I feel like a Ferrari fan.😢😛

And if not ages ago, then certainly by the very day I first stepped onto this forum and started "sparring" with certain regulars around here... 😉 😁 (right, Blacky?)

Unknown?
What's the issue now?
Who exactly is sparring?😁

I mean, I'm way too young to be getting married, plus he's already hitched, so those are basically my only two problems.
And I don't even like money, which is just one more thing to deal with.😁 😁 😁 😁

Now, personally, I absolutely love money, but I've never been much for Michael. So, even if I were a woman (and let's face it, he's quite the man😁), I wouldn't be looking his way either.🙂

Look, if it weren't for the women who actually enjoy watching NASCAR, I'm convinced these drivers would never find anyone to marry.
If we set aside the almost entirely negligible factor of money, 😁

And isn't it just as strange that you bleed for five days straight without actually dying?

I wrote: He’s selling... Honestly, for Ralf, they’d probably have to pay someone just to take him off their hands...😁

mistybear87 said:it looks like Ferrari’s only real shot this year is in the drivers' championship... they are currently lightyears away from even sniffing the constructors' title...

Hmmm... Well, if they want to pull off that first one, they’re certainly going to need a world-class driver in the cockpit... though I find it hard to believe Williams is actually looking to sell...😁

Austin Evans quoting Sergio Marchionne:
Well...
here is a little something relevant to our discussion here...

It looks like Ferrari has decided they'll be sticking with the old F2002 for the upcoming race at Indianapolis...

"There are still a few problems," Todt said. "Our objective is to give the new car its debut in USA."

Todt mentioned he’s perfectly content staying with last year's chassis, even if it hasn't managed to snag a single victory in the three races we've had so far this season.

"We know that the F2002 is still a very competitive car," he added.

It seems like a sensible move, honestly; perhaps if they play it safe like this, they might actually manage to scrape together a few points...😛

Good luck, old friend... in Formula 1 ·
I I'd like to jump in here and join everyone else in offering their congratulations...
Truly, I wish you nothing but the absolute best that life has to offer!
You’re stepping into what I genuinely believe will be your finest years yet...🙄...and I mean that

And honestly, I'm not just wishing you a single win for Ford this season; I think we can aim a bit higher than that—let's say at least...two!!!👍 👍

May you find yourself listening to that stirring anthem while watching Rubens standing tall on the podium!!!😁

Once again, a very happy birthday to you, and all the very best!😉
