I suspect it might happen eventually, though I have a feeling it won't be a direct confrontation, but rather more of a subtle, strategic maneuvering happening right behind the backs of Juan Pablo Montoya and Fernando Alonso.😛
So, I finally wander back onto the forum after what feels like an absolute eternity, only to discover that bluebadger52 has apparently lost the ability to read or write. Honestly, there goes twenty-six years of my life spent putting my faith in someone like that... what a total waste.
Damson said:Since we're already drifting into discussions about Prost and Senna, I thought I'd share a few rather intriguing things Prost once remarked regarding Michael Schumacher:
Hmm... now, Damson, I think the FIA might need to give you a little reality check here—you really shouldn't drag Mialj into every single conversation we have. Look, this specific thread is dedicated to Montoya, a driver that certain teams are actively HUNTING because they’ve actually recognized his sheer TALENT. So, while someone like Alonso could certainly join the fray here, let's try to keep the discussion limited to drivers who are actually interesting and in high demand...😉
If any of you find yourselves grabbing a drink somewhere around Cleveland, do let me know. As for me, I’m officially announcing my intention to hunt down a decent cocktail or perhaps a cold beer somewhere in the Cleveland area this weekend...😁
John Hall4 said:Well, I think you’ve missed the mark there. Michael was never one to air dirty laundry in public, whereas Ralph seems to do it quite frequently. In my view, Ralph actually had a car capable of taking the championship title this year.
A joint venture at BMW.👍
The real issue, if you ask me, is that he doesn't have a teammate who’s willing to play second fiddle; instead, he’s stuck with someone who is purely out for their own glory...

Ever since 1994, he's been well known for those outbursts of pure celebration... 😉
John Hall4 said:Ralph S. is at it again, taking shots at his own team, even going as far as posting about it on his personal website. Honestly, you just don't see drivers criticizing their outfits like this—certainly not with this kind of frequency. His brother, for one, would never dream of doing something like that.
haha I can't help but chuckle; I mean, his brother managed to snag three championships largely because he had such a stellar team behind him, so maybe he should be handing out more critiques! It really makes me wonder what Rubens might have had to say if he actually felt he was allowed to speak his mind.

The 320d is more than enough... I mean, if you look at how things played out leading up to 2010, who knows? We might be looking at Formula 1 cars running on diesel engines or some other turbo-diesel nonsense soon enough...
Elizabeth Hughes said:Oh, for crying out loud, here he comes again—just as we were finally getting ready to drive a knife into his back, you know, right when we were planning our little coup d'état or some sort of grand revolution, or whatever else! What a mess.😁 😉
I’m still around, technically speaking, but I’ve been out in the field so much lately that I haven't had a spare second to breathe—not to mention I managed to pick up some nasty bug that’s currently doing its best to take me down. Once I start covering the office starting next week, things should settle back into a normal rhythm🙂
There are certainly those in Formula 1 who actually put in the effort... though, if I’m being honest, it feels like the majority are just going through the motions without much heart at all...
Anthony Jones68 said:Well... I find myself somewhat at a loss for words here, though I certainly have no intention of being rude toward the IMF.
Watch Your mouth. 👎 👎 👎
By all means, feel free to be rude. After all, the very person who started this whole thread seemed to think anyone actually cared about it in the first place. 🙂
Jason Roberts67 said:I’ve got some exclusive intel for you all—it looks like Michael Schumacher is heading to America on August 14th to hang out on Maui for a party hosted by his buddies, a group of motorcycle riders.
I suppose this might be the first time I won't feel particularly bad about hearing news of a wildfire breaking out over on Maui...
