Oh man, I am right there with you on this one.
I just have zero appetite. Like, none at all. I’m basically eating just to stay upright.
Honestly, sitting down for a meal feels like such a chore and a total waste of my time; I don't get any joy out of it, and if I could just
stuff myself with enough calories in one massive sitting to last me an entire week, I’d be thrilled to finally ditch this daily obligation.
It’s probably all tied up in my headspace, but whenever I try to bring it up, people just don't seem to get it.
They just give me this blank, pale stare like I’m speaking a foreign language...
But hey, at least I can see I'm not the only one dealing with this!
I honestly have my doubts about that being such a bright idea, mostly because zinc paste can be incredibly drying on the skin.
If you end up stripping your skin of its natural moisture, your body might just overcompensate by pumping out even more sebum as a defense mechanism, which could lead to a whole new wave of breakouts.
At least, that’s my two cents on the matter!
Honestly, such a blast to watch! It’s super lighthearted, genuinely funny, and the special effects are actually pretty solid.
Robert De Niro is an absolute legend!
Definitely worth a watch.

Oh, it's all cotton for me, obviously!
I just absolutely cannot stand synthetic fabrics, and honestly, if I wear nylon, I start feeling overheated almost immediately.
I really only pull them out when I absolutely have to, and even then, I try not to stay in them for more than three or four hours tops.
Personally, during the winter months, I’m constantly layering up with leggings, knee-high socks, and bodysuits.
But honestly, I am just straight-up terrified of the cold.
I absolutely live for warmth and I absolutely loathe being chilly.
The second I feel even a tiny bit of a chill, I turn into such a grouch! 😬
The one silver lining for both me and Sarah Anderson4 is that these spots usually clear up within about 10 to 15 minutes, so I honestly don't think it's quite as intense or overwhelming as dealing with full-blown hives.
I really hope so.
So, am I just being totally weird and overthinking things here? Or did you maybe do something to get under his skin?
Hmm, you really think we're looking at hives here?
Ugh, hives?! Don't even say that word out loud! 🙂
Though, I have to admit, I am kind of enjoying this evening of us just scratching each other's backs. 😬
Yeah, I guess there isn't really a magic cure 😢
Honestly, the whole "explaining" part is what gets to me most, because these freaking spots always seem to pop up at the absolute worst times, and then everyone starts interrogating you about what on earth is going on.
I mean, even just getting out of a swimming pool makes me look like some kind of polka-dotted mushroom, but for me, the real nightmare is the sweating.
Even the tiniest bit of perspiration triggers the redness, which happens way too often during the summer months.
And don't even get me started on the constant showering.
I remember the first time I called my boyfriend back home and hopped in the shower before bed; I was stuck in that bathroom for ten whole minutes just praying those spots would finally fade away.
It can be so incredibly embarrassing sometimes... 😳
Oh my gosh, I am dealing with the exact same thing you are!
I honestly feel like I could have written this post myself—it’s like looking in a mirror!
The thing is, I haven't found a single solution for it yet, and let me tell you, it is incredibly frustrating.
Those little spots usually clear up in about 10 or 15 minutes, but man, when they flare up, they make me so incredibly cranky.
I am seriously at a loss for what to do about it.
But honestly, it makes me feel so much better just knowing I'm not the only one going through this.
Whenever I try to explain to people that I'm actually allergic to my own sweat and that it causes these super itchy blisters, they just roll their eyes at me like I'm totally exaggerating.
