Man, I’ve got this annoying issue where whenever I try to play an MP4 video, my screen just starts flickering black immediately. Then I get that "ATI driver not responding" error popping up. If I don't kill it right away with Alt+F4, the whole system just hits a blue screen and reboots itself.
So, I'm downloading this new build right now, but honestly, this is probably the last one I’ll bother grabbing before the final version actually drops.
Personally, I’m finding build 7057 way more stable than 7077. On this 77 version, I keep hitting random errors—like Windows Explorer just hanging on me out of nowhere—but somehow, my games have been running totally fine so far. Anyway, I just got some email from Microsoft hinting that an RC 5.5 might be dropping soon, and apparently, we'll be downloading it straight from them just like we did with the beta. Honestly, who knows what that's actually going to look like 🤷
Anyone actually notice a real difference between build 7057 and 7077? I don't want to waste my damn time downloading everything if it's just going to be the same old stuff under a different name.
Look, I’m not an idiot—I know how a pause button works on the internet. I’ve tried running stuff through Windows Media Player and even Media Player Classic, and it’s the same deal with both.
So, I’ve run into this annoying little glitch on my Windows 7 setup. Every time I try to listen to some music or watch a video, the playback just stutters out—like, it slows down for about a second every two or three seconds before picking back up again. It’s constant, and honestly, the worst part is it just started happening today out of nowhere.
I’m not entirely sure what you guys mean by "bootable," because I just signed up on Microsoft's beta page, grabbed my CD-key, downloaded the ISO, and went to work. I started with build 7000, burned it, and installed Windows just like any other version of Windows. When I rebooted, it gave me the option to choose between Windows 7 and an older version of Windows (Windows XP), which is totally standard for any 🤷. So, I ended up trashing the DVD I got from Microsoft and instead grabbed build 7048 from a torrent. I reinstalled Windows 7 using that torrent version, and now, if I leave the DVD in the drive, it boots straight into Windows 7, but if I take it out, it defaults back to Windows XP. 🤷
So, can I actually bridge Windows 7 and Windows XP together? The issue is that whenever I try using ICS, it keeps forcing that same old IP address, 192.168.0.1, but I really need it to be 192.168.137.1 instead.
I don't want to clutter things up with a whole new thread, but does anyone know roughly what a rhinoplasty costs these days? Also, how does it work if you're traveling from out of state? I’m hoping they can just get it done and send me straight back home without any drama.
Noah Miller6 said:@faragos Dude, you gotta actually read the whole thread instead of just going in guns blazing... @observer Just grab the 32-bit version. Honestly, it’ll run 99.99% of everything that works on Vista anyway.
Do I seriously have to repeat myself again? Is one explanation not enough for some people here???
The drivers should work fine. I installed them, but I'm hitting a wall trying to find the WLAN driver anywhere.
Maybe give that Partition Magic software a shot 🤷 though I’m honestly not sure if it even plays nice with Vista.
And while we're on the subject, what am I supposed to do about drivers for Windows 7? Like, seriously, where am I even meant to find them when there isn't a single thing online to download? 🤷
