Once they slapped taxes on the domestic sportsbooks, business cratered because every serious player migrated online. In my view, the only way they catch you is if you're moving massive amounts of foreign cash into an American bank account. I’m talking about the heavy hitters pulling in $10 $0.00 or more every month. It’s exactly like downloading pirated movies—if you’re moving big numbers, you end up under a microscope. That’s just my take, though. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
So, watch how you move your money into this beautiful mess of a country!!
If I'm reading this notice correctly, they plan to track us via IP addresses rather than through payout distributions. They aren't banning betting itself, just using foreign sites while physically located within the US. So, theoretically, we can bet from other countries, just not from American soil, if I've got this straight.
Basically, it's a disaster. We should just walk away from betting entirely. Let them shut everything down and call it a day. If they're going to be this greedy, let them starve. Add another thousand people to the unemployment line while they're at it.
If anyone has any actual intel, spill it.
