Does anyone actually know how much Brawn paid for Honda?

For a single pound—definitely a solid investment. 😬

It feels like we were all watching the exact same race... That last Safety Car really killed the momentum and prevented an even more intense battle for position. I honestly can’t remember the last time we saw this much overtaking in Australia.

Sep and that Rosberg guy—honestly, they’re just mediocre drivers.

I wouldn't say he messed up—he actually drove those first two stints brilliantly. Honestly, I think they just botched the strategy by sticking with those soft tires. He clocked the fastest lap right at the end, and considering how easily he shook off Kimi Raikkonen at the start, it was a killer opening move. Are you sure you weren't thinking of Nakajima?

These tire compounds will be available to the drivers for the first four races:

Here, check out this shot of Robert Kubica and Sebastian Vettel—in my opinion, it was a racing incident; if either one had just backed off, there wouldn't have been a collision, and who knows what we might have seen by the end of the race...

I’m with you on that. Honestly, even the director didn't seem to think there was much action worth showing; they probably missed 10-20% of the actual overtakes. In my opinion, the broadcast was poorly handled.

Bryan Nelson352 said:Even after his son, Harvey (24), ended up behind bars because he caused a fatal accident with a blood alcohol level of 2.45%—killing Rose Pavic (19)—Jerry Zuzic was out there driving with a staggering 2.75%.

The police actually pulled Jerry Zuzic over twice. The first time they caught him, he just flat-out refused the breathalyzer, so the cops disqualified his license and banned him from driving. But apparently, that didn't bother Jerry much; he just calmly got back in his car and kept driving despite the ban, according to reports from the LA Times.

A few hours later, near Broadway, the police caught up with him again, and this time he was hauled off to the local holding Unit.

Word is that on May 30th of this year, the Los Angeles Municipal Court issued a non-binding ruling fining Jerry Zuzic $2333 and handing him a six-month driving ban.

I guess this old alcoholic just can't seem to cut back, even after that whole tragedy...🙂

And what tragedy are we even talking about here?
The actual tragedy was for the young couple and their families. For the Smiths, it was nothing more than a minor inconvenience—one they "don't see any reason to dwell on."

So, there you have it regarding that man. 🙄
And if they were so capable, why didn't the Italians just film it themselves?
They already did a screen adaptation of Tex, so what's stopping them from tackling Alan Ford?

Besides, I can't exactly watch the race and hang out on the forum at the same time... my computer is stuck in the other room. 😢

It’s a recorder, sure, but honestly, it’s basically the exact same thing you’ve already got on your hard drive recorder... timeshift functionality.
You just hit record and you can start watching while the show is still being captured.

My coverage is just getting started... enjoying this blissful little time-shift 😁😁
I think I’ll stick to lurking on the forums until the race wraps up. Since I’m running a few minutes behind schedule, I’d rather not subject myself to hearing things I definitely don't want to deal with 😉

Freshly showered, shaved, finished my business, and now I'm just nursing a beer on the couch at 5:30 in the morning... truly the dream life of a dedicated homemaker 🙏🙏

I remember that... it was ages ago, decades even.
From what I recall, Cobra took the win, and honestly, that’s about all I can wrap my head around after watching it at least three times.

BTW, I downloaded the Cannonball Run trilogy a few days back. It's the exact same vibe. 👍

So, what you're actually trying to say is that they're too fast? 😁
