The whole thread is being incredibly discriminatory, bordering on a blatant attempt to insult one specific political party.

If this isn't enough reason for a moderator to step in and fix this mess, then we’re basically looking at a full-blown protest on December 5th! Seriously!

But I find myself wondering, which specific political option is being insulted here? And I guess I have to ask, by what logic do you and people with similar views consider yourselves a legitimate political movement? This anti-American leftist rhetoric isn't actually a political platform; rather, it feels more like pure anarchy and a total disruption of public order.
As for the idea of a protest, I can't help but wonder what else those reckless, empty-headed individuals would even want, besides free tuition? Maybe they’d ask for a mallet and a shovel, though I suspect there wouldn't be much practical use for them with such a crowd. I suppose if you were attending MIT or Ford, you might find plenty of other massive, witty intellectuals hanging around there.

Well, I suppose it is quite easy to see exactly whose interests are being represented here, isn't it?

I suppose, if I were to venture a guess, he probably managed to pull all that together by selling off his old Renault 4, though I imagine combining that with the steady income from those companies you mentioned would certainly help build up such a fund, wouldn't it?

I suppose he must have handed over quite a massive chunk of change in taxes if he’s able to afford those kinds of watches using just his salary, though I guess it really depends on how one calculates their take-home pay after all those deductions.

Well, I suppose there might have been a slight misunderstanding regarding the initial inquiry, as the question was actually centered on the idea of heading off to the front lines, rather than that sort of aimless, left-wing rambling that seems to happen so often lately, I guess.

Well, you certainly did a thorough job laying all those points out there, my dear relative, though I suppose if one were to be truly exhaustive regarding that agreed-upon war, one might also feel compelled to mention the selling of oil to the enemy, if I may say so.
It seems to me, though I could certainly be mistaken, that the entire nation has been systematically plundered, almost everything that was built or developed over the last fifty years appears to have been essentially stolen from the people.

Well, I suppose one might find themselves wondering, if they were inclined to ask such a question, exactly who was responsible for selling that oil, and more importantly, to whom it was being sold? It is a rather complex matter, I guess, and perhaps a bit more convoluted than it first appears on the surface.
Is the state actually being robbed? I suppose one has to wonder exactly when that process began and which specific individuals were responsible for such a thing. I mean, have you ever really looked into the concept of voucher privatization? It’s quite a complex subject, and if you aren't familiar with what that truly implies or the sheer scale of what actually transpired during those years, it is very easy to miss the bigger picture. I guess it’s all about understanding how the pieces fit together.

I would suggest that you perhaps dial back the Democratic Party demagoguery just a little bit, if I may say so, because it is starting to feel somewhat absurd, I suppose. It feels like you’re running out of material, and honestly, maybe you should try coming up with something entirely new? At this point, the quality of these arguments isn't even on par with the old teaching methods in Stowe—though, thinking about it, perhaps they wouldn't even measure up to those newer workshops in Maui. I mean, the instructors there today seem to be far less effective than the ones from back in the day, so it feels like Maui has actually surpassed that old "school for castrating and weakening common sense" we used to hear about in Stowe. Or, if you prefer, perhaps it might be more productive to simply refresh everyone's knowledge through some sort of ad hoc seminar for the Democratic Party youth?

Well, you didn't actually address the point or the comment at all, and if I had to guess, you were probably still in preschool while he was busy moving from LAFC to the FBI, then over to the CIA, then maybe even a stint at the White House, and then back to the CIA again... and so on.

So, if I am understanding you correctly, are you suggesting that instead of pursuing a career in politics, George W. Bush should have perhaps headed straight to the front lines of a battlefield?
What's left of January 3rd? in Close to Politics ·
Matthew Harris2 said:January 3rd is going to happen all over again, only this time we'll win by a landslide. When it finally goes down—and I don't think we'll be waiting much longer—we need to stop playing nice. For the sake of our future, we have to go after the mafia hiding inside the Republican Party, from the local level all the way up to the cabinet.

That’s the only way the US actually stands a chance at a bright future.

Where on earth have you been living? You're saying America only has a chance at a happy past once they win.
I mean, we can't exactly just walk away from the mess they dragged us into in less than four years of being in power, yet you seem to want to go through the exact same cycle again.
That party of bold frauds probably should have been banned from political activity ages ago, and maybe activists should be shut down, much like how their predecessors (those folks back before 1990) used to teach us.
Now, I wouldn't say the current group is perfect by any means, but they are, I think, a hundred times better for America than all that leftist, anti-American trash.

driftingdriver And just imagine, if only by some strange twist of fate, what might have happened if the topic had been about the Red Star instead of this ongoing crisis? I suppose things could have taken a completely different turn, though I can't say for certain.
