Man, I tried going incognito and still nothing—same exact issue. I even cleared out my cache, nuked the app, and did a full reinstall of Opera, but yeah... totally useless. Still stuck.
Link expired or page removed? in IT Support ·
Hey guys, so I’ve got this weird issue on my Android phone. When I go to Facebook albums using Opera, the first few photos load just fine and I can scroll through them, but as soon as I try to click on any other album, I get hit with that "the link may have expired or the page has been removed" error. It's happening across the board on Opera, Firefox, and Chrome on my phone.
Weirdly enough, if I use this specific ad-blocking browser I downloaded on my Android, everything works perfectly—all the albums open up without a hitch. It's not just my phone, either, because everything works flawlessly on my laptop and tablet using those same browsers, so I'm pretty sure the issue is buried somewhere in my phone's settings.
I've already wasted some time digging through YouTube tutorials, but nothing has worked. I tried updating everything via the Apple App Store, clearing the cache, even doing a full reinstall, but no luck. To make matters worse, certain websites won't load at all on my phone through Opera, Chrome, or Firefox, even though they work totally fine on my ad-blocker, my PC, and my tablet. Any ideas? Help me out!

Hey, can you recommend a solid free antivirus from Google Play
so when I run a scan, I can actually trust that there aren't any viruses hiding on my phone?

Hey,
So, a few days ago I was browsing Booking.com on my phone and out of nowhere, the prices started showing up in Nigerian Naira. Then, when I checked my family Gmail account, I got a notification saying someone from South Africa had logged in. On top of all that, I couldn't even get into Instagram the way I usually do—you know, just typing in my username
and my US number... instead, I actually had to manually enter the +1 country code first.
To make things weirder, this has been happening for a bit where whenever I'm browsing a site, everything just freezes or tilts on me. I have to kill the Opera browser and relaunch it just to keep reading or typing, and it’s not just Opera—it’s happening with other browsers and apps too. Honestly, I thought it was just because I've dropped my phone on the floor a couple of times. But now I'm getting worried about the big stuff—how can I tell if I've caught some kind of virus, and how do I fix this weird location issue?
Cheers,
I don't have a multimeter on me right now.
So, my laptop is an Asus Vivobook 15 X507MA—grabbed it about
a year and a half ago at Best Buy for around $633 bucks.
I haven't used it much, but hey, it’s actually working again.
I'm not sure if this is even related, but back when I reinstalled the OS about six months ago, it acted up a few times right after the install
—I remember it wouldn't even turn on, so I
ended up hunting online for some key combos to hold down, which finally got it to kick back to life.
Now, here's my thought: if the charger is the culprit, or if it's just totally fried, shouldn't the thing still power up since
my battery is sitting at a full 100%?
If I drag this thing down to a repair shop, they'd probably be able to tell me exactly what's going on, right?
Because if it's just the charger, that's an easy fix, but man, how am I supposed to know if the motherboard itself is toast?
So, I've got this Asus laptop.
Every single time I try to power it up, it just shuts
itself off after maybe three or four seconds, and it's doing this non-stop.
But get this—when the battery actually died,
it started working totally fine, and even showed
that the battery was at a full 100 percent. What the hell is going on?
Any idea what I should do about it?

Alright, everything's looking good now so I'm gonna leave it be, but if anything starts acting up again, I'll definitely let you know.

I don't think it’s a virus issue at all. I already did a full system scan before this and everything came up clean, plus I went ahead and did a fresh reinstall just to be sure, but still nothing.

I stumbled upon this little hack online where you just hold down the power button for about 30 seconds, and man, it actually worked! Everything went dark and
when I hit the power button again, the whole thing kicked right back to life. I'll let you guys know if things go south, but right now I'm just sitting here waiting on some Windows updates to finish up.

Guys, I’ve got a massive problem on my hands now—I can't even get my laptop to turn on at all.
I was just messing around with an external USB hard drive plugged in, and while it was loading something, it hit
96%, but then I yanked the drive out. The stuff that was stuck at 96% just vanished, so I figured I'd just reboot the PC, use it for a bit,
and then shut it down. When I went to power off, it gave me that "do you want to shut down" prompt (honestly, I can't remember
exactly what the message said), so I just hit "shut down anyway" and killed the power. Now I'm trying to boot it back up,
but absolutely nothing is happening, even though the little indicator light on the side is glowing. I picked this thing up
a little over a year ago from Best Buy, but I've really only been using it for about a month and a half. Now I'm scrambling to find the warranty paperwork, but I think I might have tossed it in the trash. Please, I need some help here!

Alright, so I just toggled the Touchpad to off and everything seems fine again for now.
I honestly have no clue what was causing it since this PC is practically brand new, so I’m just gonna wait and see how things
play out before I post an update if the glitches start acting up again.
(It’s been happening where everything works perfectly, then like thirty minutes later,
the chaos starts all over again)
The machine is an ASUS VivoBook 15 X507MA.
I've had it for about six months, but I've actually only been using it heavily for about a month and a half.
My Touchpad sensitivity was set to medium, but I did some digging online and read that for these kinds of
glitches, you should probably switch it down to low.

Man, I am dealing with a massive headache right now.
Everything on my laptop is basically possessed—I’m talking folders popping up, random websites opening by themselves,
even GomPlayer and the Start menu are acting out, plus my mouse cursor is drifting all over the place, the resolution keeps jumping, icon sizes are changing, you name it...
I started by running a full system scan, but everything came back totally clean—zero viruses found,
yet the madness just kept going.
So, I went ahead and did a full reinstall of the PC, but as soon as I started using it again, it was the exact same story...
everything is still opening on its own, just like before.
I'm running Windows 10. Does anyone have any clue what the hell is going on?
Please, I seriously need some help ASAP because I need this machine for work.
Reinstalling Windows in IT Support ·
Got one more question for you guys. When I’m going through the whole Windows reinstallation process and I finally hit that screen showing all the drives that need formatting—where I’ve gotta pick one and just smash 'next'—do I actually need to wipe every single one of them? Or just certain ones? And how am I supposed to tell which drive is which, or even figure out which one is actually my C: drive
Reinstalling Windows in IT Support ·
So, I’ve got a quick question for you guys—I'm looking at picking up a new laptop soon.
I've actually been sitting on this bootable DVD with Windows 8.1 for a while now,
and I was wondering if I could just use that disc to install Windows 8.1 onto the new machine (I'm planning on grabbing one of those laptops that comes without an OS pre-installed). I already know half of you are gonna jump down my throat telling me to just get Windows 10, but honestly, I really want Windows 8.1 because I'm just so used to how it works.

Can anyone help me out here?
How do I create a OneDrive sharing link? in IT Support ·
Thanks, man, I get it now.
Now there's one thing I really need to nail down because it’s the big one for me. If I go ahead and permanently delete those photos from my email (the ones I used to make that link), is that OneDrive link I created going to stay active with the photos still there, or am I gonna lose them from the link too? This is huge for me, so if anyone actually knows the deal, please let me know.
Best,
How do I create a OneDrive sharing link? in IT Support ·
So, I’ve got about 200 photos tucked away in my OneDrive through my Outlook account.
I'm trying to figure out how to set up a single OneDrive link where all those pics live together in one spot—basically, I want to be able to just slap the URL into my browser and have everything pop up right there so I can grab them all at once via a bulk download.
Back in the day, this guy who was doing some freelance photography work for me sent over a OneDrive link with over 100 shots on it, and man, I loved how that worked because
I couldn't accidentally mess anything up—no adding stuff, no deleting stuff—I could just view and download. It’s super secure because even if someone else gets a hold of the link, they can't touch my files or change a thing. But honestly, the best part is knowing these photos aren't gonna vanish like they would on some old USB stick or a burnt CD; as long as I hang onto the link, I've basically got them for life.
I tried looking up some tutorials online in English, but my English isn't great and I got pretty lost in the technical jargon. Also, quick question: can I do this exact same thing with entire folders that have images inside them?
If anyone could walk me through this, I’d seriously appreciate the help.

I had zero clue how to upload a photo from my phone to this thread, so please don't kill me,
Basically, under playback I've got these Bowers & Wilkins PX headphones, but the headset shows up as disconnected. Every time I try to hit connect, absolutely nothing happens—I have no idea what the deal is.
Bluetooth headphone issues in IT Support ·
Man, I’m having a total headache with my Bluetooth headphones too.
So, I picked up some wireless Bowers & Wilkins Px headphones.
Everything works perfectly fine when I'm using them with my smartphone.
But today, I tried to switch things up and listen to some tunes on my laptop instead.
Even though they’re officially paired via Bluetooth with my
laptop, the second I hit play on Windows Media Player, the sound just blasts out of the laptop speakers instead of the headphones. When I check my device settings, all I see is the Realtek HD Audio as an option.
Does anyone know what I need to tweak so I can actually hear my music wirelessly through these Bluetooth headphones?
Just for context, I'm running an HP 250 G6 Notebook PC, 64-bit.
Thanks in advance for any help, cheers!
