What's good to listen to? in Music ·

If that stuff doesn't put you right to sleep, this trumpet blast will definitely wake you up. 😁

Yeah, listening to Ildjarn might just make a guy lose his mind. 😁
Song of the Week in Music ·
Pick of the week?

Here’s what I'm listening to:

Tragedy - Tragedies

Some light, atmospheric doom... It’s honestly so slow that I feel like my fingernails might grow faster than they play, but still, it's brilliant.

Red Harvest - Sick Transit Gloria Mundi

It's a weird mix of everything, I guess. You've got black metal and death metal blending into thrash and industrial... It's bizarre, but it works.

So, this week, the US is my number one. 😁

Ah, you kids today, you just don't get it...😬

I used to listen to Gansa back when I was a kid, and honestly, I'm kind of embarrassed about it now...😁

I also listened to Exploited, which was pretty cringey... But lately, I guess I'm starting to see some good sides to that band.😬

Ah, you old timers, all you do is complain... 😁 😍

If you know, you know... 😛 😛 😁

Rammstein is actually a place in Germany. There was this plane crash there one year where a bunch of people died... Maybe that's why they chose the name. Or maybe they're hinting at it... 🤔

Who's opening for them?

From what I've heard, Undercode might be the opening act. Don't quote me on that though... 😁

Wait, who was talking about getting wasted? 😁

dustyscout53 isn't just posting on the music board, he actually started the whole thread 😲
I guess you can tell he hasn't felt this kind of hype since seeing Iron Maiden 😁

Anyway, the show is at the Factory, and if I recall, tickets are about $57, so it might actually be worth it.

I still think it’s 140. 🤔

Lebo, don't sweat it... It'll probably happen soon... 😁

It's a pretty fun record. If someone has it, I'll trade a few beers for it. 😁

Man, where did you even find that? 😁 😁

Zika Pričalac... 😁 I think he was some guy who would tell stories and record them on tapes or whatever else back then... 😁

hollowseal33 said:hahaha. I actually have the booklet and—ta-da!—the CD! An original one, too. It even has Antun on there and everything.

You up for a trade? I think I've got some Zika Pričalac stories lying around somewhere, plus Snow White and Sleeping Beauty... 😁

I even have an autograph that Zika Pričalac gave my parents back when he was touring through the Midwest. 😁 😂 🤣 Obviously, this was way before the war. 😢 Kids today are going to miss out on so much good stuff... 😢

I've got the booklet, but I don't have the cassette.

crimsonjackal8 said:Look, man, you've got it all wrong. The Beatles are just your typical reactionary group that could really mess with the development of a young, self-governing individual. In a lot of ways, The Beatles don't even follow the established party line. In several songs—take "Honey Eyes," "Above the City," or "Detroit," for example—they openly or subtly glorify drug use. Then, throughout a whole string of tracks, they flirt with that reactionary existentialist philosophy (in songs like "We Are Sinking," "Blue and Green," "USA," "Be Alone," or "Wall"...). And it's well known that even Jean-Paul Sartre eventually recognized the brilliance of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Worst of all, in multiple songs, The Beatles invoke pagan mythology and religious worldviews (like "Synchro," "Shrine," or "Water"), essentially offering "opium for the people"—or rather, opium for the youth, as Vladimir Lenin put it regarding religion.

It's pretty obvious that when it comes to a group like The Beatles, we need to perform an ideological and political differentiation and take a clear stance. Our youth doesn't need this kind of reactionary music.

Secretary crimsonjackal8.

Whatever... I guess the point is just to make sure they aren't listening to Thompson. 😁

If you listen to Tufir, kids should probably have an IQ higher than whatever number the thermometer is showing in the living room. Like, maybe above room temperature... 😁

So, Tufir, don't sweat it too much, I think I overreacted... 😁

crimsonjackal8 said:If my kid ever rolls up to my house one day rocking an Armada jersey, a tattooed 'U', and some Tomson CD, I’ll know it’s all because of that hedgehog's house. 🙄 😁

I mean, you know how kids are—they always do the exact opposite of what their parents want, so that scenario is actually pretty likely. 😁

So, maybe it's time to start blasting some ultra-right-wing folk music, otherwise your son is probably just going to end up listening to EKV or something... 😁 👍

hollowseal33 said:Yeah, obviously, Joe doesn't die.

What a joke. Total delusion. Joe is a suicide case. And even if I'm wrong about that, while he was crying by the creek, he probably froze to death because the temp was clearly at or below freezing.

So, just being logical here, there's no way that rabbit survived. You guys are all still living in a fantasy land. 😎

I guess this is basically just a euphemism for suicide. At least, that's how it looks to me... 😁

silvermaker9 said:, though—his biggest issue is that he’s basically a nobody in the rest of the US, so he probably wouldn't pull nearly as many votes as someone who actually has a fanbase everywhere.

That’s why I think we should just send Severina. Maybe if she strips down and causes a total scandal? Or just shows off enough skin to win... Whew!!! Now that's what I call motivation! 😬
