Can someone take a look at my urine results and tell me what you think? My doctor mentioned my leukocytes and protein levels are a bit high, and she suggested it might just be from standing on my feet all day too much...

Leu - 25
Pro - 0.25
Ubg - 17

Leukocyte sedimentation

Leukocytes - 2-4
Epithelial cells - 3-7
Bacteria - 1
Crystals - 1
Salts - 3

The doc told me to chug as much water and cranberry juice as possible, but honestly, I'm pretty clueless about all this. If anyone can break this down for me, I'd appreciate it...

Is there actually such a thing as being too old to start training some kind of martial art, assuming you haven't done anything before?
Cybersecurity - Suggestion for a new subforum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
There are already PDFs and threads covering this, and honestly, like people have already pointed out, nobody seems to care that much right now. I’d maybe agree that moving it to a more "visible" section would be better... but if there isn't any interest in the topic to begin with, what's even the point of opening a new section? It would be like me arguing that a PDF on Martial Arts needs its own dedicated sub-forum instead of just being under Sports, when only a couple of people even bother to read that part anyway.

Benjamin King2 said:The thing is, a fix might work perfectly for one guy, but then someone else jumps in with the exact same issue and the suggestion does absolutely nothing for them. So what's the move then? I'm down with nuking threads that have brain-dead titles—it's literally in the rules anyway... I'll probably have to get a bit more aggressive with it since these kinds of posts are popping up everywhere lately.

I don't know... if the title actually makes sense and tells you what the issue is, people with the same headache could just go check out that thread...🤷...I never said we had to delete every thread once it's solved, we could just lock it or something...

So, I’ve got a suggestion for this subforum... basically, people come here with hardware or software headaches, right? I was thinking, once someone actually fixes their issue, maybe we could just lock the thread or mark it as "resolved" somehow. It would save everyone a ton of time. If there's a massive, complicated troubleshooting session going on—which doesn't happen all the time, but it does—someone who isn't glued to this site 24/7 might end up scrolling through pages and pages of back-and-forth, only to find out at the very end that the fix happened ten posts ago. Just feels like a waste of precious time. Hope you guys get where I'm coming from...

Oh yeah, I know those spots... heard they actually collaborate with each other. UFK Dubrava is run by Bernard Ban, and the crew over at UFK Trešnjevka is basically his old colleagues and guys he used to work with. A buddy of mine trains there and says the vibe is solid... anyone here actually dealt with UFC Crows? You know, the one started by Željko Banić?

Anyone here actually training or used to do MMA? Looking for some real-world insight—what’s been your experience, any advice, or specific gyms you’d recommend?

lol...not even a trainer...🤣...
Look, you’re only 23. That’s honestly nothing. I feel like I’m just repeating myself from that psychology thread earlier, but seriously—go hit up a gym or find some sport you actually give a damn about. It’s the easiest way to meet people who aren't boring. Plus, you might actually end up going out somewhere. I know, I know, showing up solo feels awkward as hell when you don't have a crew, but you mentioned those classmates from college? Just reach out to them once in a while. Even if they act a little weird about it, it's worth it just to get out there and eventually find your own people...

So, what you're saying is everyone on the forum should just drop everything to focus on electing and re-electing moderators!?

Oh, please. 🤣

If you actually know something about a specific topic, then go find a sub-forum where you can actually be useful and help someone out—don't just sit here wasting everyone's time.

😵

fine... I'm done commenting on this. I'll leave it to the "experts" like you...
Interesting suggestion, but if you’re asking me, I’d tweak things a bit...

I’d stretch the mod rotation period to at least 6 months instead of 3... because like someone else already mentioned on this thread, it would just be pure chaos. Every single sub-forum would just be stuck in a loop of voting for mods. Then, right when everyone finally picks someone and those threads get cleared out, we'd be back to square one with a new election. 3 months feels way too short—it’ll fly by before you even know what hit you. And obviously, if a newly elected mod turns out to be useless, there should be a way to pull them and move to the runner-up or whatever...

...I also still think giving regular users 100% control over the whole site is a bad move. Like someone else pointed out here, people usually just vote for whoever they hang out with most in that specific section or the person who posts the most. That doesn't mean they actually know their stuff or provide the best answers. In my opinion, after the vote is in, the admins and senior mods should review everything. They should check the user's post history to make sure they actually know what they're talking about before making the final call...

...My idea? We do a massive sweep at the start. Put all current mods to a vote to see who stays and who goes. Meanwhile, we'd have to block mods from sending PMs to prevent them from swaying votes. I’d be down to coordinate that with Kenneth Peterson5

...Just my two cents, though. Not trying to start anything or take sides...

Pixel Shader 2.0 issues? in Software ·
Zachary Ruiz7 said:it keeps bugging me every time I try to launch Lost Planet. I’ve got DirectX 9.0 x installed, a Radeon 9600, and 1GB of RAM.
so, where's this shader hiding? can I just grab it and shove it into my Accenture drivers?

Pixel Shader 2.0... look, the 9600 definitely handles 2.0. You probably mean you need Pixel Shader 3.0, since that's what the game actually demands—along with a dual-core CPU... so yeah...
