Listen, I’ve officially declared war on Eminem😛 just to make sure he doesn't consider converting to Christianity before it's too late.😁
We already have plenty of our own people... the ones who just rewrite their faith whenever it suits them.😂
Are you going to join the fight?

No. Eminem is essentially just the one tasked with doing the heavy lifting—the "grunt work," if you will. He might not even realize the damage he’s doing to his own convictions, to Christian faith, or even to those atheists who aren't dictators but end up serving the interests of those who are.

Those who get it, get it. And believe me, there are plenty of them out there.
Best regards, all the best!

Well, I wanted to send some good vibes your way too—all the best to you.
(Though, let's be honest, I suspect you’ve probably already checked in...)

Susan Brooks83 said:Rebecca Rivera2, any chance you're planning on making a comeback? 🤣 I’m not going to sit here and try to talk you into staying—not because I don't care, but because let's be honest: it would be completely pointless.
Relationships, your choices, and free will—it all comes down to that. Honestly, I’m sorry you’re letting this get under your skin quite so much.
Between Ego and all the atheists out there, sometimes you just want to go out and give them a good thrashing, don't you? Honestly, you might want to just curl up and hide.
Don't go sulking or throwing a tantrum just to make a grand comeback later—it’s honestly exhausting. Things aren't nearly as bleak as they might seem right now, even if it feels that way.
You see, I actually do care about you—even if you’re convinced I don't. It’s funny how that works. Honestly, at the end of the day, everyone thinks the world of you.
Honestly, you don't even realize what you're missing—which is exactly why we’ll probably have to start an entirely new thread just to spell it out for you. 😂 🤣
You know, Rebecca Rivera2, you’re basically our resident little "nuisance" and "troublemaker" in these PDFs—it's going to be quite something.
I’d be genuinely sorry to see you go—truly. I really wouldn't want some trivial, insignificant nonsense to be the reason you walk away.
Everything is fixable—we’re still standing, thank God.

Regardless of how you decide to play this, I truly just want you to find some peace and do well. 🙂

I didn't jump into this "fight" for my own sake—honestly, that’s not really my style. I’m doing it for the rest of you guys on the forums, especially those regulars who were posting here back when I was nothing more than a silent observer, just lurking in the shadows every once in a while.
All you ever care about is whether it’s personal. I’m sorry, I don't quite follow—could you clarify what you mean by that? Someone might have stepped on your toes—or maybe they didn't—and if they didn't, then you’re fine. Personally, I see things through a different lens.

Beyond that, I’ve come to realize that the people who actually grasp what I’m talking about—the ones truly tuned in—are never going to be part of some organized movement. Even among those I feel most connected to, there isn't this neat little label like "religious" or "atheist" that binds us together. They are scattered everywhere—you'll find them tucked away within Christian circles, among the agnostics, the atheists, even within Muslim or Buddhist communities—but they always seem to exist on the periphery, living in the background while the louder, more structured groups take center stage.

The self-proclaimed "devout Catholics" and...dioIn the end, those "nobodies"—the ones who think they can just drift through life without a plan—will always find themselves sitting around a table, forced to strike a deal on how to divvy up everything from digital assets to the tangible, physical resources they actually need to survive. 😉

I hate to be the one to say something this blunt, but I truly wouldn't want someone like you, Eminem, or Ego running my life as a boss. Thank God that isn't the case. 🙂

I can only wish you exactly what I would wish for any other human being out there—nothing but good health and genuine happiness.

PS
To be perfectly honest, your last post on the message board was the final nudge I needed to finally pull the plug on writing for this PDF.
Look, let’s just call it a day here—we’ve said our pieces, we've exchanged our thoughts, and there isn't much left to add. I think it's best if we leave things where they stand.

Chris Lopez59 said:I stopped letting the whole hi-fi debate get under my skin—don't get me wrong, I’d be losing my mind if I were in your shoes right now—once I realized there’s really no point in playing defense for Christianity when these aren't actual attacks. It’s mostly just kids being loud, people stating their opinions, a bit of trolling, and everyone having far too much free time on their hands. There’s a subtle danger in thinking you have some grand mission regarding this forum, but let's be clear: there is no mission. We are here primarily for ourselves—to learn a thing or two. And the lesson here is that you shouldn't sweat it. For instance, atheists aren't our responsibility; that's their life to live. Presumably, their circumstances led them to that path. Besides, God always ensures the schoolhouse stays open, no matter what flavor of belief is inside. He loves us all equally. So why bother worrying about it?

When you stop taking things so personally, you find you start writing with more grace. You focus on building something meaningful rather than just looking for a fight. Isn't that the best part? Of course, if you actually enjoy the fray, don't hold back too much—just enjoy the ride. 🙂

The reason the injustice hasn't been rectified is that the moderators have a certain level of oversight from above, but honestly, getting your penalty reduced under those specific circumstances was a total win, believe me. 😉

My penalty wasn't reduced, but my issue wasn't actually with the penalty itself; it was that I was penalized for the act of "protesting." Once I realized that only Enki and a handful of others truly grasped that distinction, I understood the futility of it all, since I can change almost nothing on my own.
For the record, I haven't been fighting against atheists at all. If my math is right, Enki isn't religious, and Apemant—who is one of my favorite people on this board—is an atheist. So, what I was pushing back against had absolutely nothing to do with atheism. Not even close.

Steven Clark2 said:So what? Who cares. We can just joke around here if we want. 😍

And why on earth should I have to endure the whims of two dictators—who seem perfectly happy handing out 500 points (not just to me, mind you) without a shred of explanation or a single actual argument? Why would I let some illiterate troll try to make a fool out of me? What's in it for me? 🤷
Besides, I didn't start this "fight" for my own sake. Enky realized that a long time ago.
Did I personally go out of my way to try and change the climate? I don't think anyone here can deny that I did. But I ended up standing alone, and frankly, I’m not a masochist.

I hope that makes sense to you now.

All the best.
Cheers! 🙂

PS
And look, this is the topic I’m choosing to sign off on—it's far too late for anything else, I've made up my mind.
That's that.

Steven Clark2 said:I’d suggest taking a month-long breather.

Then you can come back properly and just ignore them.

But look, my dear friend—before you make your final exit, there is one thing I want you to hold onto. A certain individual used to carry this in his signature on a very prominent forum in New York City:

If I leave, who will stay; and if I stay, who will be forced to leave?

It’s a shame you’ve reached this conclusion, though I certainly get where you're coming from—so I'll offer you a bit of advice: take some time off. Just let Ego- and Shady go; why are you getting so worked up over them? 🤷 Personally, they don't bother me at all—especially Ego—so I really don't see why you're letting it get to you.

I simply refuse to waste any more energy in a place where people like that get to play judge and jury. I hope you can understand that. To make the absurdity even better, I’m not even much of a Christian myself. If this kind of toxic gutter-talk suits people who consider themselves far more devout than I am, then who am I to stop them from indulging in their own masochism? 🤷

I am never going to be a "devout Catholic," and since by some strange (coincidental🤣) twist of fate I am an atheist, I would never dream of being a major Shareholder—in fact, I wouldn't even be a Shareholder at all.

Ultimately, the space will always be dominated by those blowhards who are desperate to be "great at something."
At the end of the day, what is the point of a digital space if the atmosphere is this toxic...

I'll still pop up occasionally on other message boards; let's stay in touch...

Wishing you nothing but the best. 🙂

It happened just like that... one surreal, bizarre moment in time.
I walk into my apartment...
I pull open a drawer—completely empty.
I flip through a book—every single page is white, pristine, and utterly blank.
I check the fridge—nothing. Just one solitary can sitting there.
I crack that can open—it’s EMPTY.
I log onto Reddit—my inbox is totally clear. Not a single "You have received an infraction..." notification to be found... nothing.
God, I must be dreaming.
Then, I wake up.
Everything is back. Nothing is empty anymore.
I check Reddit again—and suddenly, there's an absolute deluge of "You have received an infraction..." messages... 35; 45; 100; 500...
God, some people really do love me. 🤣 😁

My regards to those who were particularly generous with their strikes... 👍

The crusade for some sort of "perfect" PDF utopia—pardon me, I meant religion—is getting out of hand. Please proceed to the parking garage.Otherwise, I’ll just have to ask the moderators to distribute my collection via my will—it’s the only way to ensure everything ends up in the right hands. And don't worry, the estate is decent enough; we're talking a solid, three-digit sum. 🤣

I’m still trying to wrap my head around the sheer complexity of this situation—it’s like watching someone try to navigate a high-stakes poker game while wearing blindfolds and reading the cards upside down. You look at the layers involved here, the way certain players move through the landscape, and you realize that what we see on the surface is barely a fraction of the actual machinery at work. It isn't just about one single action; it’s about the underlying structure, the subtle shifts in momentum that most people completely overlook because they're too busy staring at the bright lights. Honestly, if you aren't looking at the deep-seated patterns, you're essentially just guessing—and in a game this volatile, guessing is a quick way to lose everything. kaže:
If you only knew the sheer amount of nonsense I’ve had to endure dealing with them—it’s been an absolute gauntlet—but somehow, against all odds, I’m still standing right here.Look, at the end of the day, people will have their opinions—some will like it, others won't—and that’s fine by me. But here is the real takeaway: if you genuinely love writing and it brings you a sense of fulfillment, then you’ve already found the best possible place to be—and that "place" is this community we’ve built together. Of course, if you happen to be fluent in another language, you might find yourself drifting toward international forums, but that's just how it goes. Personally, I really enjoy our exchanges, and I'd sincerely love for you to stick around.🙂

Thanks for that. It looks like you’ve decided to specialize in a whole new discipline—an obstacle course marathon, apparently... 😁
Wishing you all the very best—good luck out there! 🙂

Lisa Ortiz2 said:I’m hanging onto this forum by a single thread at this point—honestly, I’m just sitting here waiting for them to actually fix something.
I’ve actually spent some time dreaming about you stepping into the moderator role.🙂

The Assembly. dioI’d never really fit in with the nihilists—they just aren't my crowd. 😁

Who exactly are we pointing the finger at when everything falls apart? It’s easy to play the victim and search for a scapegoat whenever things don't go our way—it's almost a national pastime, really—but if we're being honest, we need to look in the mirror more often. When you find yourself empty-handed, before you start drafting a list of grievances against the government, your boss, or some cosmic injustice, maybe ask yourself: how did we actually get here? It's much easier to blame external forces than to admit we might have mismanaged the situation ourselves. I’m not entirely sure what you're getting at here—it feels like we're starting mid-sentence or perhaps just staring at a blank page. If there was a specific point you were trying to make or a topic you wanted me to weigh in on, do let me know. I'm happy to dive into the weeds with you, provided we actually have some soil to dig in first. That’s a solid start. 🤣It’s funny how that works—you aren't even asked for your opinion, yet you're expected to have one. 😁

Kate Fisher73 said:Rebecca Rivera2, I completely get where you're coming from. Honestly, I’m exhausted from trying to fix things that were never meant to be fixed in the first place.

So, I'm signing off with you here in the religion sub-forum—mostly because I’ve lost the appetite to contribute anything else here (unless it's just dropping the occasional photo in those threads about religious architecture and iconography in cinema and photography).

The reality is, once you realize that certain injustices simply can't be rectified—mainly because there isn't enough critical mass to actually drive change, and every attempt to build that momentum just hits a brick wall—the smartest move is often to just find a new environment altogether.

Hopefully, our paths cross again on a different board (maybe over in Philosophy)

Warm regards to everyone,

I'd love for us to stay in touch too...
And to you specifically, thank you for being so understanding... 🙂

If you're also planning on hanging up the pen here, maybe reply to my thread "The more mistakes I make..." once in a while if you feel like it—or just shoot me a private message.

this forum has its own strange sort of gravity
I once walked away myself—and eventually found my way back—after an exhausting battle with the admins at the time just to get this place even running, and after I finally hit my limit with some religious zealot spamming my inbox with "absolute truths" and badgering me with calls for so-called dialogue... I know how it goes
truthfully, when I left, I wasn't nearly as polite as you were, so I didn't bother with goodbyes
but all things considered
you’ll be back...

Please, don't wish that upon me.

I might drop by to say a few words from time to time, but, as I've already mentioned, I won't be touching religion... we've had quite enough of that.

I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Could you please clarify what you meant? kaže:
Hang in there just a little longer, Rebecca Rivera2—who knows, maybe Eminem will finally manage to convert you to Islam!

Either ego, I suppose—if that’s how we’re calling it. The sheer audacity required to present such a concept—it’s almost impressive, if it weren't so fundamentally flawed. We aren't just talking about a minor oversight here; we are looking at a systemic failure of logic that borders on the absurd. It reminds me of those overly ambitious tech startups in Silicon Valley that burn through billions of venture capital before anyone realizes their "revolutionary" product is essentially a glorified paperweight. You set the stage for something grand, you build up the hype, and then—poof—the reality hits, leaving everyone involved staring at a pile of expensive, useless rubble. It's a classic case of overpromising and underdelivering, executed with a level of confidence that only someone completely detached from the facts could muster.shareholder. 🤣

Jason Clark7 said:Why does it always have to be a zero-sum game—one person wins while another loses? Why can’t there be a bit more compromise? Look, I’ve gone toe-to-toe with Shadij and the rest of the management team before, and in certain instances, I completely get where they're coming from. But honestly, if you study history even remotely, you'll see just how many unjust regimes have existed. Do you really think the leadership on this forum would be some kind of miraculous exception?
I’ve already made my point once: this virtual world is perhaps the clearest illustration of how inherently unfair people can be. I don't find the actions of actual political leaders all that surprising, but seeing people here bicker over such trivial stakes—essentially nothing—just to fill some hollow void in their own identities through injustice and sheer illogicality... it's exhausting. 😢

My advice to you? Try being a winner who knows when to compromise, and just stay 👍

I actually thought something could change here... clearly, I was mistaken. Take care. 🙂
