Well, I guess that's just how these games go sometimes... nothing but run and gun basketball... everything seemed fine since we managed to put up 6 points ourselves, though our defense felt a little shaky at times... I don't really know, it is what it is... you can really feel the absence of Jokic and Markovic in matchups like this... especially on the left side... but there is no point in complaining, we just move on.👋

I don't think the issue is just some minor thing with the cloth, honestly. Our offensive plays have been completely brainless for a long time now, and I guess there isn't much else to say, but people who actually follow water polo know how things really work. It’s just the way it is. Not to get into listing all the other players who only get playing time because of their parents or who they're dating, but their time will come and then you'll see what I mean. Saying there's no hierarchy in our national team just seems pretty pointless to me.

I mean, we’ve got this tiny little scrap of cloth we can just fold up however we want... honestly, the old man is already behind it... if we had just two or three more players and a solid five-man rotation... maybe, but American water polo has been circling the drain for years now, and it’s because the people running the clubs and the federation are totally incompetent... I guess nothing is ever going to change around here... every few years we might stumble into some success with the national team, sure, maybe Mexico will pull something off once in a while, but that's really about it.
