He’s probably using, and honestly, so what if you find out he is? What are you actually going to do about it?
Trust me, talking his ear off won't change a damn thing. All it does is spark some massive, pointless argument that leads absolutely nowhere. I highly doubt you're actually going to ship your own son off to rehab.
Don't even bother forcing a drug test on him. Instead, grab one of those close friends of his that you actually trust—someone who knows what's really going on—and have a real conversation with them. Let that friend be the one to break it to him. Tell the kid that he’s the only one who can pull his son out of this spiral because he's headed straight for a wreck. Have that friend explain the reality of the situation and, if possible, help steer him away from it. But look, without a major shift, he isn't quitting.
A buddy of mine finally kicked the habit after pulling two years in a federal penitentiary. Tell him straight up: he’s gambling with your trust. Tell him you don't want a son who's an addict, and make it clear that either he shows up for a monthly drug test until he earns that trust back, or he can pack his bags and get out. Something drastic has to happen. Maybe he'll storm out of the house at first, making a huge scene, but once the dust settles and he's alone—especially if that friend gives him the reality check he needs—that's when it might actually sink in.
Maybe, but honestly? I’m watching this unfold, and it is absolutely draining.
One minute she can barely get a sentence out because her head is splitting open, and then the next day she’s coming home from work complaining about how her blood pressure is bottoming out.
It’s probably just some hormonal imbalance or whatever, but this is getting brutal. It’s happening way more often lately, and frankly, it scares me. I'm starting to worry it might be something much more serious.
That’s my mom we’re talking about, and she went in for some full-blown diagnostic testing.
It used to be that her blood pressure would spike every once in a while, but lately? It’s happening way more often than it should.
She’s getting all those tests done, but I mean, what could this actually be pointing toward? She isn't super active, carries a little extra weight, and she's 45.
And look, it’s not even a seasonal thing or anything like that.
I’ve been sticking with Twinlab Dualtabs lately, and honestly, they’re doing the job.
I used to mess around with One A Day and Centrum, but I didn't feel a damn thing from them. With these, though? It's different. For instance, when I do get sick, I don't stay down for nearly as long. I just feel better overall—that constant, heavy lethargy and lack of motivation? Totally gone.
Since I'm training now, I take them in the morning and again right after my workout. I feel great, but is taking two a day actually too much? Sometimes if I take a pill in the evening, I can't even fall asleep. Is it all in my head, or could the vitamins actually be causing that?
thanks for all the input. I did some digging online and found Dr. Kincl—I think I’m actually going to book an appointment with him. It just feels like the right move. And honestly, regarding the "moonlight" look... just imagine, I already have one kid. My chest went from a solid C cup while breastfeeding back down to an A. To everyone coming at me in these comments... yeah, okay, I have an insecurity. So what? 😂 Once the surgery is done, that complex will be gone. Besides, plastic surgery is everywhere in America these days... I'm clearly not the only one dealing with stuff like this.
Guys deal with the exact same insecurities, especially when it comes to their bodies. Me first. Honestly, if I could go under the knife to fix certain things, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Luckily, you can, and you'll be much happier for it.
Good luck! And hey, shoot me a DM with some before and after pics. (Just kidding... unless you actually want to!) 🙂
Emily Flores54 said:Ugh. I honestly cannot wrap my head around how someone can be so incredibly insecure that they feel the need to go under the knife for body modifications... I just don't get it. All that breast augmentation, lip fillers, skin tightening, lifting, Botox... it’s just gross. What kind of boring world would we live in if everyone had the exact same perfect proportions? It would be mind-numbing. Forget all that nonsense. People today are so obsessed with their looks that they completely lose sight of everything else that actually matters. Go get bigger breasts and you'll "be happy" (yeah, right—because you'll have the cleavage you dreamed about, blah blah blah...); instead, take that money and donate it to a local food bank or a charity, and you'll make dozens of people actually happy. It's not like it's a fortune, but imagine how much food that could provide for hungry kids... huh? Screw the boobs. I have small breasts, and even when I try to imagine having larger ones, guess what? I'd still be me. I'd still be doing the same things, hanging out with the same crowd, laughing at the same jokes, ordering a latte with milk instead of black coffee... so why bother with surgery? No amount of cleavage is worth changing who I am or altering my body. Anyway, that's just my two cents. Don't let anyone get to you, sweetie.
So a woman has an insecurity, and you're telling me you can't understand that??????????
Why do you wear makeup, shave your legs, or pluck your eyebrows? To look better, right? To cover up things on your face you aren't happy with? That's the same thing. Those breasts bother her, but to me, a good bust is just part of being feminine. She'll be just as happy with big breasts as you'd be buying some cute little outfit, a pair of heels, or some fancy lotion... She wants the boobs and the whole package. Beauty requires a little sacrifice.
Low-fat cottage cheese, chicken breasts, pretty much any kind of meat you can find. Dairy products, eggs, fish—tuna works great, even the canned stuff. Oatmeal or whatever oats you have on hand.
IMO I had similar issues myself, but they cleared up. I'll tell you though, those extra strong gums—the ones with heavy menthol—really helped me out. It actually felt like there was air moving when I inhaled.
So, does it actually hurt when you take a breath, or what??
I’m typing this out because I just saw some absolutely catastrophic lab results for someone very close to me. So, look, I’m asking for advice here—how can I actually help this person? Please, suggest some prevention strategies or even specific diets...
For about $77 you can grab a double pack of Dymatize elita Whey, and honestly, the stuff is top-tier. That’s a gainer, man. You could try it if you want, but I grabbed it once and I am never touching it again. It turned my stomach inside out—I was running to the bathroom constantly. I barely put on any weight during my bulk using that crap.
