Well, honestly... there isn't much they *don't* sing about. 😁Which specific track are you actually interested in?

Die Toten Hosen - Freitag der 13.

Then you showed up uninvited again. You looked at me—ha, what do you want? I grabbed the kitchen knife and just kept stabbing. 😍

1. Baker Dafina - over in Ozalj
2. Dora - located in Columbus
3. that spot on Potomac because they’re open 24/7

1. Dinara on Britanica—their potato pies are incredible, provided you catch them while they're still warm. Plus, they have little tables where you can snag free samples. 🙂
2. That place near the start of Preradović—the croissants there are amazing, huge and super buttery.
3. Near the beginning of Radićeva—they have such a great variety of rolls; personally, those cheese buns are my favorite.

Michael Newman50 said:Did he go after your friend first, or was it the book? 😬

No, he just took the book. It's pretty obvious he wasn't even interested in her, though she still hasn't realized it to this day.😬

Top 5 things I’ve lent out and never seen again🙂:

1. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy—lent this to a girl who moved away to Australia... gone forever.
2. Trainspotting—I lent it to a friend so she’d have something to read at the beach, then she lent it to some random guy on the sand (???), and the guy vanished with my book the very next day.s that was her version of returning it. 😁
3. 'The Great R&B Swindle' on unknown—well, maybe there's still a slim chance I'll see that one again.😍
4. Megapunk by Idiot—lent it to some jerk who happened to be over for New Year's Eve, and he just straight-up claimed it as his own.
5. Some stale black martinis rotting somewhere in a McDonald's in Miami because the person responsible left them there and never bothered to go back.

Point is: I can't stand people who don't return stuff!😠 😠 😠

Alex Rogers91 said:Honestly, thank goodness American iced cappuccinos replaced those outdated, old-school traditions and actual coffee.

Geez, why does everyone take it so personally when someone speaks out against coffee? 😬

dmj said:But you're missing the point—nothing like Nescafe, Jacobs, vanilla chicory, or whatever else isn't actual coffee shouldn't be allowed on a "best COFFEE" list. Because those aren't coffee. They're just instant drinks designed to mimic the taste of coffee. Maybe they have coffee in them, maybe they don't.

I get what you mean. Honestly though, I find it kind of funny when people lose their minds because I say I'm drinking coffee when I'm actually just having a Nescafe. 😉 To me, real coffee is just bitter and unpleasant. Plus, I don't even keep any Turkish coffee at my place. In fact, I never even learned how to brew it properly. 😳 And I really can't stand those old-school coffee rituals my family used to do—sipping scalding hot coffee while surrounded by cigarette smoke so thick you could cut it with a knife. Here in the States, I've just gotten used to grabbing an iced decaf cappuccino. 😁

Oops.. 😁 I actually meant those vanilla-flavored Jacobs cappuccinos.. 😵

The bottom line is, if there isn't vanilla in my coffee, it's just not right. 🙂

It's Nescafé by the Jacobs brand, if that clears things up. 🙂

Macaulay Culkin, we were all just talking about coffee, and then suddenly Tilda Swinton and Lady Gaga bring up the crime of Nescafé. If I were running an ad campaign in the US, it would go: "Nescafé? How about some Nescafé instead!" It’s absolute Horror. It’s like starting a conversation about sex and pivoting to masturbation. Or bringing up a niche band during a discussion about music. Honestly, I need to go brew myself a strong cup of traditional coffee just to calm down.

Look, I'm not in the USA, I'm just in my own room, and I can drink whatever I want and make whatever top ten list I feel like. By the way, since you're such a fan of steamrollers, I'm certainly not getting excited over here.👋

And it isn't Lady Gagame—it's Susan Clark10.. L as in Love.. ☕

And hey, I hope they end up spending way more time with you than with me! 🙂

My top 3 coffee picks:

1. Nescafé with vanilla
2. Nescafé with vanilla from that cafe across from the NYU campus (plus a vanilla cookie)
3. Nescafé with vanilla in the courtyard of the Smithsonian

I'm not crazy—my iron levels are at a 5 and my immune system is basically non-existent, yet she’s out here telling me it’s all just psychosomatic. 🙄

My top 5 fruits:

1. Strawberries
2. Apricots
3. Bananas
4. Pomegranate
5. Rhubarb

Frank Howard79 said:Seriously, what is your problem with briefs?!😠 😁

I just can't stand them. Even my dad probably doesn't wear them anymore. 😁

Here’s a quick top 5 list of things that drove me up the wall today:

1. That nosy neighbor who thinks everything is her business.
2a. Ladies on the subway with grocery carts at 8 AM.
2b. Ladies on the subway with grocery carts at noon.
2c. Ladies on the subway with grocery carts at 4 PM.
3. My doctor, who responds to every single concern with, "Oh, it's probably just psychosomatic."
4. My advisor, who's making me redo my thesis because she claims the term 'melting pot' is some weirdly specific cultural trope and insists I use archaic legal jargon instead. 😵
5. That mean old witch in the journalism department (the blonde one).

Alex Rogers91 said:I honestly don't get people who make their choice of a partner conditional on what kind of music they listen to. To me, that’s the absolute last thing I’d care about. Despite the common opinion on this forum, I think judging someone by their playlist says very little about their actual character or intelligence.
I'm actually pretty shocked by these lists, especially when someone writes stuff like, "Her favorite albums HAVE to be..." That’s just wild to me. I never would have even thought of something like that back in high school.

Well, it's not exactly about setting conditions before meeting a guy, it's more like... it’s just much nicer if the person you love listens to the same music you do. I think I mentioned this on another thread once, but I had a really awkward experience when I found out a guy I was seeing listened to house music, Taylor Swift, and some extremist political anthems... once you get burned like that, you become way more cautious. Now, I always ask what they listen to first. If Sonic Youth isn't even in their top ten bands, he's out. Simple as that. 😁

My top 5 dealbreakers in men:

1. Dirty fingernails (gross, seriously)
2. Beards and/or mustaches (they're itchy and make people look older)
3. Tattoos on bulky biceps
4. If they wear those old-school, baggy men's briefs instead of boxers
5. Going to football games and constantly retelling stories about being a die-hard fan

I gave up on looking for non-smokers because there are just too many great guys out there who smoke. 😬

Melissa Collins41 said:What's the ultimate playlist for a guy to listen to if he wants to actually be interesting?😬

I'd change can listen to to must listen to:

5. Melodic punk (though I know how cliché that sounds 😬 )
4. Indie or Britpop (there’s just something sexy about it)
3. Goth (as long as we aren't talking constant gloom, suicide, or Satanism)
2. The Bambi Molesters
1. Sonic Youth

And if possible, he should be taller than 5'11"😍

Are you talking about those old mills over on Main Street?? Man, that place was a total classic!!! Square tablecloths everywhere, ladies in sandals, and guys in corner booths just crushing some burgers 👍 👍 👍 We used to spend all our time playing cards there back in high school
