Samuel Murphy6 said:Basically, I’d give it a 🎉—or actually, a -5. A symbolic penalty for the location, plus the fact that they didn't have any sliders available, which I was ready to devour immediately. I could've gone three rounds with those.

Thanks again!
I think my high school reunion might be coming up around these dates at that spot 🙂 👋 🙂

Hehe, my little brother actually went there yesterday for those sliders... now you're telling me you're his friend? 😛

redcrane28 said:The rumple room was basically just that one corner in our house where we shoved everything else that didn't have a spot—everything from Dad’s old toolkit to those dusty childhood toys. It was like a junk drawer, but for the whole house. I always had this sneaking suspicion my grandma just made the term up.

She definitely didn't make it up! In German, there's actually a word, 'rumpelzimmer,' which means exactly what you described.😉

Dana Anderson4 said:But I do know what that classic old expression "anjpidekl" means!😁

Isn't it supposed to be a-j-n-pidekl? Anyway, I used to absolutely love saying that word. 😁

And that little thing they hang by the door for babies? I always just called it a "partihlić"—I've always loved how that sounds.😛

stressee said:My number one most precious lost pin

It was Fugazi—red lettering on a black background. It spent about five years on my bag strap, riding along through every trip, concert, crowd, and mosh pit I ever went to. Honestly, it drew more eyes than if I’d been walking around in a low-cut top without a bra 😁. Then, out of nowhere, I lost it at an Apple Store while just sitting peacefully on a patio. I still can't wrap my head around how 😢

I have a new one now—black letters on a white background. It’s not quite the same as the old one, but it was a gift from someone incredibly special, so I love it anyway 🙂

Top 5 things I hate doing but absolutely have to:

1. Waking up early (waking up in general)
2. Doing the dishes
3. Shaving my legs
4. Listening to my girlfriends talk about their pregnancies, birth details, babies, and diapers
5. Going to big family lunches

Hehe, I was honestly just waiting for someone else to say this so I wouldn't have to be the first one to bring it up... 😬

I could never, ever be with a guy who doesn't listen to music even remotely similar to mine. Once upon a time—it was ages ago—I got tangled up with this cute little guy. I didn't know much about him at first, but he was sweet, honestly... then I went to his place for the first time and saw his shelf. There were three CDs sitting there: a 'house compilation', a Nina Badrić album, and some old extremist political anthems... I bolted out of there immediately. I was in total shock for days. Since then? No chance. I won't even look at someone unless they can name at least three Sonic Youth albums 😁

Go ahead, tear me apart... I’m sticking to my guns—that’s just pure eighties style, period. 🙂

My top 5 childhood juices (back before the beer era took over!):

1. Alpina
2. Laura Gonzalez44
3. Coca-Cola
4. Gold Standard
5. pingo

Don't go pushing it that far. 😁

Nothing beats that one specific childhood juice. I’m talking about those classic brands you’d find in those slim, rectangular cartons—I think they were around 24 ounces? You couldn't just pop a straw in; you actually had to puncture the top with scissors or something sharp. I remember every single time I tried, I’d end up getting soaked because the juice would spray everywhere. Honestly, it felt like such a luxury back then, too. It was always so expensive!
The chubby president-guy is easily 220 pounds, and at least half of that is just pure chest 😬

Man, she’s going to be the death of me... I have to admit, Kona is easily my favorite brand out there. If you don't mind me asking, where did you pick up that beauty? The selection here in Chicago is honestly pretty depressing, and even checking in with the local shops, I can never seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. 😢
A GVSB X-rated ride... and if I could pick anyone to drive me, it would definitely be Scott McCloud 😛

Larry Ramirez10 said:To me, The Rolling Stones at the IEEE were pretty underwhelming. It was just that gritty Detroit garage sound... honestly, they probably should have just stayed in the garage.

😲
You're out of your mind. The Rolling Stones are the best band in the universe, and that was easily one of the greatest shows I've ever seen at the IEEE—and that goes for everywhere else, too.
