It’s pretty obvious that the policies of the Republican Party—who have basically run the show here in the USA since we gained independence (well, except for those three and a half years in Los Angeles)—have pushed us right to the edge of bankruptcy. We're absolutely drowning in debt because of them, which is why we've been treated like the "black sheep" on the global stage, and honestly, people have every right to be worried about where their next meal is coming from... they fought to establish this country, and then they just went and smashed it like a toddler breaking a toy...

We're talking about what we actually know!

How fast was Radimir Čačić driving ahead of those cars
if the ones who got smashed from behind ended up dead!!??

Why would someone who beats his wife ever back down!!???
And he's supposedly some top-tier businessman despite all that!

Look, there’s a massive distinction here that people seem to be missing—it's everything. When someone hits a woman, they are doing it with intent; it’s a conscious, deliberate choice. Car accidents? They aren't. They aren't "on purpose." That is the fundamental difference between a crime and an accident. If Radimir Čačić had steered his car into another vehicle on purpose, then we’d be talking about a completely different story altogether.

I was asking about the totals and all those screw-ups like his!!!

You see how Radimir Čačić can just get away with anything? I mean, seriously, it's been going on for years!
That guy is a reckless driver. Someone like that has no business holding public office.
That test is just for the idiots who keep making the same mistakes over and over!

Don't be too hard on him. He's basically a local legend.
Bottom line: if you're against Radimir Čačić, you're against the Democratic Party. Period.

Technically, it doesn't matter if it's a total loss or not... a mistake is still a mistake. For instance, someone rear-ended me at 60 mph once, and the damage was minimal because it hit me from behind... if they had hit my door, people could have died. But at the end of the day, the driver's error remains the same.

And honestly, being a careless driver isn't enough to disqualify him from being a public figure.

I’m really curious how many other politicians have cut someone off, sped, or crossed a double yellow line... I bet our entire Congress is filled with reckless drivers... NEW TALK!!! 😉

I highly doubt "anyone" can make that mistake multiple times.
It’s never happened to me—not one fender bender, not one rear-end collision!!
I don't even know anyone who's been in something like that!!
How many total wrecks and car crashes have you been in?!

And hitting a woman has to be accidental, unintentional, and totally unplanned!!!

To be perfectly honest, I can count on one hand the number of friends or even casual acquaintances I have who haven't dealt with some kind of legal trouble involving a car—anything from a minor scrape to a heavy collision. Personally, I’ve been in two. Nothing catastrophic, just some property damage... twice someone hit me, and once I hit someone. Every single time, it was just pure distraction.

And it’s pretty much impossible to accidentally swing your arm and hit someone, especially if it happens multiple times over several years.😉

Let's start comparing someone's marriage to public dating
since we can do it with a private bank too!!
Should Čačić get a divorce then?!

😍

Or, say, if Čačić hits his own private wife
should he quit politics then!?

Don't go equating a tragic accident with a deliberate crime—like domestic violence.
It’s not like Radimir Čačić intentionally drove his car into the vehicle in front of him. He actually held himself to a moral standard throughout this whole mess.
Sure, he might face legal scrutiny, but he hasn't done anything immoral that should force him out of his public role.

Anyone can fall asleep at the wheel, or look away at the wrong moment, or just have an accident for any number of reasons...
Should R. Čačić just step down from politics already? in Close to Politics ·
Linking a traffic violation—which, unfortunately, carries the worst possible consequences for both a career and personal life—to political standing is, at the very least, a biased way to look at things.

I mean, let’s say Radimir Čačić was the CEO of some private bank; would he be expected to step down then, too? Or does this rule only apply when someone is a politician?

And honestly, you can't even compare this to a Cabinet Secretary resigning just because something went sideways within their specific sector...
Pull-up bar recommendations? in Other Sports ·
ruggedowl said:Look, I had a bar mounted in my doorway—I ended up ripping the whole thing down after crushing about 30 pull-ups in a single set, which honestly doesn't surprise me given I'm sitting at 285 lbs of pure muscle.

The truth is, for what we're talking about here, it really doesn't matter if you're 285 lbs of lean muscle or 285 lbs of bacon... gravity doesn't care what kind of mass you're hauling around.😉

Anyway, getting back to the actual point—either I buy one of those door systems that eventually jams itself loose, or I just go full DIY and weld a permanent bar wherever it makes sense for me.

Mark Nguyen6 said:Alright, let's slow down—what are you even talking about? Don't get carried away.
Mandic, Dezulovic, and that whole crowd in New York City pull off events just like they always do. Over there, people actually view them as figures of value. Here, though, they're—to put it mildly—pretty mediocre.

Take Mandic, who claims identity doesn't even exist. Or Jergovic, who seems to have fled wherever he could from the slightest bit of pressure, leaving everything behind. Then there's Stankovic, who sits there while Tijanic lectures him on what it means to be a true American. And Ivancic—whose entire publication collapses the moment foreign sponsors dry up, yet he still tries to lecture us on market dynamics and hard work...

So, when it comes to these types of characters—people who, if you scratch just beneath the surface, turn out to be nothing more than bags of mediocrity—what exactly are you trying to say? That their behavior is driven by some cosmopolitan ideal? Or that they're somehow progressive? Or perhaps they're champions of liberty?
Please, pull yourself together.

Exactly. Which is precisely why these individuals headed to New York City to escape those very same primitive tendencies—a city that has essentially rehabilitated old, regressive ideologies.

Your logic is completely flawed.
😬

That’s exactly it—who honestly cares what these mediocre folks or those pseudo-intellectuals—the ones who barely managed to survive a stroke—actually think... let them think whatever they want... why even bother getting worked up over it?

I guess you can frame it that way in this crazy consumerist capitalism we live in.

Look, from where I'm standing, the vast majority of people would ditch their national identity and all that patriotic nonsense in a heartbeat if someone offered them a million bucks... or honestly, probably way less than that.

Most people basically fall into two camps: those who are driven by the almighty dollar, and those who care less about the cash and more about some kind of leverage—some form of power, really.

And that power? It’s a spectrum—it could be anything from being the President of the United States to running a local chess club, or even just having moderator status on some random online forum.

Then you have that tiny 10%—the ones who walk away from both money and influence because they aren't actually chasing either—and most people just look at them like weirdos or cult members. 😉

But honestly, you shouldn't judge people for chasing wealth or control... life is just a whole lot easier, more comfortable, and longer if you've got a grip on at least one of those things. 😉

Charles Jackson5 said:No, you missed my point. When I talk about social standing, I mean having some kind of useful role—a job, being established in your field, sports, the arts... anything. In that sense, feeling like you actually belong and contribute is what keeps a person sane.

Basically, you're saying if you translate that into raw power and cold hard cash, then you've hit the nail on the head.😉

Mark Nguyen6 said:It seems that for those who, as the cowboy might put it, have no father, no mother, and no children...
You’ve essentially described the classic opportunist—someone without a shred of scruples—and I find myself in complete agreement with you there: for people like that, self-assurance, character, and emotional stability are entirely derived from their social positioning. Since they are completely dependent on receiving applause—regardless of who is doing the clapping—they would likely turn on their own kin or sell out their own parents just to stay in favor. I suppose that moves past mere behavior and straight into pathology.

All they care about is staying in the game.

The thing is, in this country, those types make up about 90% of the crowd (total pathology, like you mentioned). Out of that group, maybe 15% actually manage to climb the ladder, while the other 85% just sit around nursing massive grudges against them, wishing they could be in those shoes.

And look, it isn't just an American problem—it's everywhere. Just watch how quickly people "forget" about their country the second there's money involved, suddenly scrambling to move their assets to some tax haven out in the Caymans....

I might be wrong here—and I could easily be mistaken—but I tend to steer clear of people like him in my daily life, simply because they are so exhausting with their constant, restless agitation.

I can certainly concede the possibility that types like him are actually quite well-adjusted, and perhaps I just lack the capacity to perceive it.
But, well, I don't.

Maybe you're the one who isn't quite there yet, 😉 so that's why you can't wrap your head around them.😁

Anthony Reyes27 said:We either didn't know, or we just didn't want to face them. What the Royalists and the US Army couldn't achieve with weapons, they’re managing to pull off with pens and media outlets. It’s a systematic erasure of our identity.

What are they even after? They want America back—which basically means erasing Americans and just absorbing us into a Mexican identity. And honestly? They might just get exactly what they're asking for.

Look, once again, it’s the same old story. Either we didn't know what was coming, or we just didn't want to deal with it. And let's be honest—sometimes those confrontations involve more than just words. Sometimes they get heavy.

hollowtrucker77 said:So, we're really going there now? Using weapons against anyone who doesn't share our particular brand of enlightened thought? Honestly, the sheer, unadulterated absurdity of it all is almost impressive if it weren't so profoundly exhausting. It’s that classic, tired trope—the idea that if you can just find the right caliber of hardware, you can finally silence the people who make your skin crawl with their "incorrect" opinions. It’s a desperate move, really, a loud and clunky way of admitting that your arguments are actually quite flimsy on their own. You don't win a debate by bringing a gun to a conversation; you just end the conversation entirely, which, let's be honest, isn't exactly winning anything.
No.
Traitors and high traitors deserve more than just a prison cell or forced labor—they deserve death, though honestly, nothing compares to the ultimate punishment: being publicly shamed until there is absolutely nothing left of their reputation.

From what I can see, weapons would be used too.
The death penalty doesn't exist here, and neither does forced labor as a judicial sentence. Mob justice isn't really a thing either.
And honestly, the definition of a "traitor" is incredibly broad—at least on this forum. Depending on who's typing, you could call Stjepan Mason, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, or the Liberal Party—and all their voters—traitors. It goes on and on.
Plus, it’s never quite clear who would actually carry out these "persecutions"...

Of course, there's also the less violent option: just letting people keep talking their nonsense.

So, apparently the plan for dealing with anyone we disagree with is just to settle things with weapons :klap::klap::klap::klap:
That’s just how those ultra-nationalists operate.😉

I mean, seriously—how can you honestly claim you don't know that you just can't wear the Democratic Party? It's common sense, really.
Even the moderator doesn't have a clue about this—which, honestly, is pretty weird if you think about it!

Look, if being insulting and throwing around profanity is part of the deal for you guys—fine! I'm not going to sit here and argue about the ground rules.
Let’s be clear about one thing—fraud and what the Democratic Party is doing are two completely different animals!

Alright, send over the Democratic Party stuff whenever you're ready and I'll get to work on it—sounds like a plan.

He’s already gone and sent out a FAKE message!!
Kuzis!!???

He went and did something that really should have been handled in a private message—you know, just one of those things that belongs in a DM instead of being blasted out there for everyone to see.
Man, you can tell right from the jump that this just isn't working—it’s pretty obvious from the very start!

Have you actually heard about that photo montage thing? Seriously, have you seen it?

It’s not really an issue with him, honestly—he’s just exactly who he is.
The real issue here—and I really mean this—is that the moderators and admins are just letting him get away with it! It’s honestly frustrating to see them sit back and allow this kind of behavior to continue without stepping in.

They basically give him a free pass to screw around with anything he wants—no penalties, no nothing. It's like there are zero consequences for whatever he pulls.
It’s honestly wild to me—I mean, really think about it—that people can just go around insulting a huge chunk of the community here on Reddit without facing even a single consequence. It’s frustrating, truly. You see someone just tearing into everyone, being blatantly disrespectful, and then... nothing? No moderation, no penalty, just total silence from the admins. It feels like there’s zero accountability for basic decency, and at this point, it’s becoming hard to ignore how much it ruins the vibe for the rest of us who actually want to have a decent conversation.
Forging private messages and then leaking them online—and there’s absolutely zero accountability for it? It's honestly wild.

This just isn't right!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not even the slightest bit!!!!!!

Look, you basically wrote out the exact message he posted, and now you're acting all defensive about it—it’s kind of ridiculous. The whole thing was just blunt and rude, plain and simple. That's really all there is to it. Just be a bit more careful about what you say in private messages next time, and you'll be fine.
