I’d be absolutely mortified if I ended up puking all over my high school floor, only to have my parents show up to pick me up in that suffocatingly awkward silence... or worse, having them sit by my hospital bed after a stomach pump 😕. Let’s get one thing straight—I’m not saying people shouldn't drink at all, but surely there are some boundaries, right? You can have a perfectly good time with a few cocktails without needing to demolish five bottles of bourbon 🤦. Honestly, the things people come up with just to justify their own behavior... 🙄. div>
I’m not surprised, per se; I’m simply appalled 🤮
Honestly, what on earth are we even talking about here??

"Oh, everyone else is doing it, we used to do the same thing, let's just be glad they aren't drinking more" 😕

And that’s the excuse? There is no excuse. These kids need a serious reality check to bring them back down to earth. They haven't even truly started living on this planet yet, and already they're trying to prove how tough they are? Please. 🙄
And before anyone calls this sensationalist journalism, let me be clear: this is the reality on the ground. We have middle schoolers getting wasted at school and passing out in the bathrooms while their parents show up to pick them up because they can't even stand on their own two feet. 😕
Where is the guidance? Where are the counselors? I don't see any, and frankly, we need to get more mental health professionals into our schools immediately. It feels like something is fundamentally wrong with how they're thinking. 😕
Actually, the parents probably need a therapist even more than the kids do.
I mean, where is the sense of shame? Do they even have any left? Or has everything been washed away by screens and digital noise like everything else...
It's disgraceful.

Yeah, I’m with you on that😁...it’s just a bit too clever for its own good, which honestly feels like the most absurd part of the whole DBZ saga

Sure, because apparently during a transformation, a stylist just shows up and makes it 🤣

"Hair dye is what gives you power!" 🙂

In this movie, Bulma is played by Emmy Rossum, but as for who might show up in a sequel, nobody knows yet.

Ah, I know her. Hmm. It’s a bit difficult to picture her in a role like that, but I suppose it could work.🙂

I am genuinely curious how they would handle the transformation in a potential sequel—how they'd make them actually look like Super Saiyans... 😬...they aren't going to resort to using blue hair dye, are they?🤣

Uhuh😁...I I have to agree, a sequel would probably be a much better move than what we got.😁

Just one quick question, though—which actress do you think they'll cast as Bulma? *.*
I saw Goku, and honestly, he’s pretty rough looking.🙄..One of my buddies actually puts more effort into his look than Goku does. 😁

briskbison41 said:True enough, though I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to base a sequel on the Z saga.

But isn't this one already following the Z style?😲

Bear with me, I’m a bit out of the loop here, so someone please enlighten me.😁

Are we going to see that creepy old man, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Vegeta, or Bulma?🤣

Will there be any Super Saiyans? Is Trunks going to show up? Will Krillin finally get some hair? 🤣
Will we see 🤣Broly?

Whoopi Goldberg is an absolute icon 🤣🤣🤣
Grace Thompson57 said:It’s likely just gastritis. That said, things could be more serious, so getting an endoscopy and some blood work done would probably be wise. Starting treatment sooner rather than later is key; if you let the weight loss and other symptoms linger, you're just inviting more complications, and then we're looking at a much bigger problem altogether.

Thanks for the input, truly.
So, I have a close family member—a male, about 15 years old—who has been dealing with daily stomach pains lately. He isn't typically someone who gets sick often, and there hasn't been much of a history of serious illness in our family. However, he’s lost his appetite entirely; it's almost as if he doesn't even need food. He's dropped 12 pounds incredibly fast. This has been going on for over a month now.
I honestly don't know what might be causing this, so I was hoping someone here might have some insight...
Just to add some context, his father also went through a period of sudden weight loss once before. Could this just be genetic rather than an actual illness? Or, if anyone suspects something else, any input would be genuinely appreciated.

Please?

I’ve watched a lot of movies, but this one? It hit me harder than any other I've ever seen. It truly resonated with my life on a level I didn't expect.😢
Absolutely devastating.

ironbadger21 said:This movie is going to be a total disaster. -_-' Look, I’m a massive fan of DB, DBZ, and Dragon Ball GT, but this feels like it has almost nothing to do with the actual anime or manga. Adapting Dragonball is basically impossible, and it looks like Fox just turned the cartoon I loved watching as a kid into a complete joke.

1) Goku is an 18-year-old high schooler now? O_o That is just absurd. Based on the trailer, the tone seems way too serious, whereas anyone who actually watched the series knows Goku was a kid—around 10 years old—and he was pretty much a moron. If they were setting the story during the tournament where he fought the reincarnation of King Piccolo, you could maybe justify him being 18. But since when was he the "chosen warrior"? O_o As far as I remember, Goku is a Saiyan sent to Earth in a space pod to destroy it. He was found by Gohan—his grandfather—whom he accidentally killed after turning into a giant gorilla during a full moon, not Piccolo. And he doesn't even meet Bulma until after that whole incident when she's looking for the four-star dragonball.

2) Roshi bears zero resemblance to the character we know from the manga or anime, either in terms of personality or look. He's supposed to be this old pervert;

3) The Dragonballs weren't created by some Buddhist sages. They were created by a Namekian who had to split his positive and negative sides apart so he could succeed "god" (Kami) in the DB universe. The negative side is Piccolo and the positive is Kami. Also, if I recall correctly, the Dragonballs have nothing to do with the apocalypse. At least not until Dragon Ball GT. People hunt them down because they can grant any individual wish;

4) Krillin, the guy who's been by Goku's side since childhood, isn't even mentioned, and
Pilaf, the one who released Piccolo, isn't in the movie either.

5) Mai was never a fighter, let alone someone capable of transforming;

6) The Trailer... I don't even know what to say. It looks like some low-budget adaptation

Overall, this movie deserves an Oscar for "epic fail." Subjectively, I hate it. The entire concept of the Dragonball universe has been rewritten. I assume they're making this for an audience that has never even heard of Dragonball.
I think most fans of the series will agree with me that this movie is a complete failure of an adaptation for the legendary Dragonball. 👎

I definitely agree. Trying to bring Dragon Ball to the big screen is an uphill battle. I mean, who is going to pull off all those special effects and heavy hitting action scenes? Regardless, Dragon Ball Z and GT forever. Gohan is my favorite character; he's absolutely great.
I have to admit, I haven't heard much about any of them, but I find the whole thing pretty intriguing. For instance, here in the States, that kind of folk music and those pop divas—you name it—are huge, even though the genre actually traces its roots back to Mexico. I’ve heard that over there, people lean much more toward rock and similar styles, which seem to hold more sway than the pop stuff. So, if a few bands have started leaning into that rock sound, why not? It feels like there’s at least some lingering desire among folks from the old region to recapture those legendary, classic WAVES.👍
