MLS 2022/23 Season: Part 2 in Soccer ·
I’ve got a high opinion of Bjelanović as an SD, but I’m dying to know who he picks for coach.

And let's not forget those celebrations in the town square for 13th place, or how some people were getting mocked for their own podium finishes!
Just relax and enjoy the moment!

Sure, the internal management played a part too, but honestly, I think that constant meddling with politics is what really cost them their soul in terms of the fan culture.

My take? That’s the only way you could have split the fan base in a city like New York.
Left vs. right...
Especially back in the 90s.
Or the "old guard" versus the newcomers—that whole vibe. Of course, the main club and its core supporters would be incomparably stronger and larger, but eventually, even a smaller group like the Warriors would hold their own.
Because a major hub like New York definitely has the potential for that kind of split.
The same logic applies to a smaller market like Chicago.

Back in the 90s, I always used to say that the late Rođo was totally wrong about how things work in New York.
You should have just moved the team to a small town on the border of Mexico. Pull the logistics and the players from there, and every single weekend, the stadium would be packed to the rafters!

I'm with you on the RNK thing—even the faction that hates Hajduk. That's how wild this gets.😁
If the core group from Feral and the main ultras actually started building a following...
🤣Just imagine what that would do to the vibe in Los Angeles in twenty years.

Anyone who actually cares about American soccer should want to see the historic clubs—the ones with real soul and die-hard fans—get back into the top flight.
Cibalia, Chicago, Zadar, Šibenik, Karlovac, Marsonia.
It’s a shame Chicago didn't pull it off and become the second major powerhouse in the city. We need a legitimate club with actual ultras, something reminiscent of those old-school legends from back in the day.

Beach towns don't have mountain cheese.

If you’re in the area, Pizzeria Ivo serves the best pizza in town.
The vibe reminds me of a dive bar back in the nineties, but the food is actually solid. Plus, it’s way cheaper than those overpriced tourist traps everyone talks about.

The Demons are singing "Happy St. George's Day"... set to the Phantom of the Opera melody. Happy birthday to you all.😁🤣

Maybe Zekić belongs back in the mix over in Osage City.
If things aren't completely falling apart there and the foreign investors aren't pulling out, his smartest move is heading back home.
With the new stadium, a little roster shake-up to freshen things up, we’ll have a killer league next year.
The Dallas Cowboys, the Miami Dolphins, the Green Bay Packers, and the Osage City squad!
The rescheduled Seattle Sounders FC match against San Francisco is happening at the Rose Bowl.

Kyle Campbell4 said:Across the globe, there are individuals who claim to despise the West while simultaneously glorifying dictatorial regimes. Yet, they feel absolutely no hesitation when it comes to enjoying the many luxuries and comforts provided by the very Western systems they criticize. Make no mistake: there is zero chance that these people will suddenly pack up and relocate to Russia, China, or Korea. All this posturing about hating the West and praising the "righteous" East exists purely in the realm of theory. They would change their tune incredibly fast if they ever had to experience firsthand what life actually looks like under those systems.

The loudest ones are always the Mexicans on Facebook screaming about how much they support Putin and the Russians. You check their profiles and sure enough, they’re living comfortably in Germany, Austria, France, or the USA.😁
There are tons of them.

If they actually thought the Ukrainian Yarun was anything like Central Park, they’re in for a rude awakening in Kyiv. They're going to get absolutely wrecked.☕

Look, anything is possible in this country, but I have my doubts about them pulling any stunts regarding those chairs.

casualsailor55 said:but the Real Madrid website is saying they're personalized...

"Ticket sales for the Real Madrid vs. Liverpool FC match will be fully personalized, meaning every ticket must be purchased under a specific first and last name. A single individual may purchase a maximum of 4 tickets, and for each one, they must present a valid government ID! Each ticket will clearly display the owner's full name, and upon entering the stadium, everyone will be required to show documentation proving that the person whose name is on the ticket is indeed the one entering the stands."
... Furthermore, it is extremely important to emphasize that we ask all spectators to sit strictly in their assigned seats, as sitting in the wrong section constitutes a violation of the Stadium Riot Act."

It’s the exact same bullshit as last year... I am honestly sick of this garbage organization.🙂

I bet the Liverpool fans are going to love this.

So, does that mean you actually need to show some ID to grab tickets, or can you just breeze through without it?

Michael Doyle72 said:...He really needs to stop trying to bait the Italian national team or play games with matches held in Miami. He should just step up at a press conference and state clearly that until things change, nobody representing the federation or those specific clubs from Washington, D.C. is welcome in Miami.
