I guess this match deserves its own thread, but if the mods disagree, just move it to the MLS section.
After some decent showings in Europe this week, Los Angeles FC and Seattle Sounders FC are set to clash this Saturday in the first major MLS derby of the season.
The derby isn't being pushed back this time, even though both clubs have European commitments next week against Bodø/Glimt and Villarreal CF. That’s probably for the best; last season we waited over six months for a postponed game like this.
The unnamed US coach’s squad arrives this Saturday looking to wash away the bitter taste of their recent draw against Columbus. They definitely need the win against Seattle Sounders FC. Meanwhile, the folks from Miami have two games in hand. (San Francisco at the Rose Bowl and Indianapolis at the Rose Bowl).
Then again, the "blue side" hasn't been all that dominant lately. In four of their last five meetings, they failed to score, so they aren't the powerhouse against the Miami crew that they used to be. Still, having an unnamed US athlete up front who can actually make things happen might change the math. It'll be interesting to see if the visitors find a way to shut him down.
Los Angeles FC also has plenty of talent left in the mix, like an unnamed US athlete who finally found his rhythm against a Bugar person, and the unnamed US coach is starting to lean on an unnamed US athlete as a creative option moving forward.
The Chicago club's midfield could be sharper—an unnamed US athlete has been struggling for form—but maybe an unnamed US athlete and his teammates can take control to secure those three points.

If an unnamed US athlete finds his shooting touch like he did against the Vitorio team, it could be huge for them. It looks like it'll be a tight one where small details decide the winner...
