I’ve been dealing with low blood pressure since I was a teenager. It’s constant—weakness, dizzy spells, can't stand for long without feeling like I'm going to pass out. I have to avoid direct sunlight and stuffy rooms entirely. My "normal" is sitting around 100/60; the highest I ever hit was 110/70 during an allergic reaction. Does anyone else deal with this? How do you manage? Coffee doesn't do much for me, and I’ve tried loading up on salt and spicy food, but nothing sticks. As soon as the sun goes down, I’m exhausted. If I close my eyes, the room starts spinning. Sometimes I even black out for a second and feel this shaking sensation, though I snap out of it quickly. I don't have epilepsy or any other medical issues besides allergies, so the shaking makes zero sense to me. Also, my heart rate stays pretty high for someone with low BP—usually around 80, sometimes more—but I just had an EKG two days ago and they said my heart is perfectly fine.
