Olivia Gomez67 said:If you don't mind me asking, why are you even doing that search?

Well, I just typed out what was already in the medical report. Just go find a cardiologist, I guess.

Olivia Gomez67 said:Yeah, in my case it was because of a congenital heart defect, so it was just part of the pre-op prep.

Is that needle part actually super painful? I mean, I don't usually have issues with needles, but I guess I'm a little nervous about this...

Kimberly Ward said:Is that related to a heart defect, or does it fall under standard pre-op testing?

I had an ultrasound done and this is what it says:
Younger female with slightly enlarged right side of the heart along with mild tricuspid regurgitation. Possible ASD or pulmonary vein confluence in the RA.
Recommend performing a nuclear medicine radioangiocardiography to evaluate for left-to-right shunt and Qp/Qs ratio.

Olivia Gomez67 said:I've had it done a few times, and honestly, it isn't anything like a coronary angiogram. They insert the needle through the jugular, which is pretty painful, I guess. You also have to drink this contrast liquid they give you beforehand. I'm assuming the test is for some kind of heart defect or something like that.

I guess I was just worried about that painful part.....

Kimberly Ward said:It’s pretty much the same thing; if you go to a place like Mayo Clinic for a radiofluoroscopy, the whole process is kind of uncomfortable. It's all laid out in the descriptions. There's just this one little detail that makes it a bit unpleasant.

I guess I read about it, but I was mostly looking for some actual first-hand experience. But obviously, nobody here has actually gone through it.

I guess I don't know, but I have no clue, which is why I'm asking, I suppose... 🙂

Has nobody else dealt with this? I placed my order on Monday and, I don't know, I'm feeling a little anxious... if anyone knows anything about what kind of search is happening here... please... enlighten me.

I need to run this search, so if anyone here has gone through it before, I’d really appreciate it if you could tell me what it's actually like—if it's painful or whatever. Thanks.
P.S. I tried looking to see if there was already a thread about this, but I couldn't find anything. If one does exist, maybe the admin could just move my post? Thanks.

I’m looking for something similar, though I think an i5 would probably be better for me. Does this specific version come with an i5, and if I wanted to upgrade things like the RAM or whatever, what else should I add? I guess it would also be helpful to know what the total damage would look like at the end. Honestly, even this one might be fine given the price. https://www.amd.com/product.asp?produ...bnh&code=82642
Since I don't really know much about this stuff, I suppose you could tell me if the price is fair and if there's anything else I'd need to buy to make it work.
wiredpilot25 said:It’s this disgusting pain, like I’m sweating through everything because it feels like a hundred knives are just slicing me up from the inside. I take some Advil and it helps a bit, I guess.

That sounds like kidney stones to me... I had pain like that once and it was honestly unbearable, maybe even worse than childbirth... just awful. Though, I wouldn't say it felt like cutting, more like these pains that just tear through your back and spine...

wiredpilot25 said:For the past week, I've been dealing with some intense pain around my right kidney and urinary tract. I went to see my doctor, and she sent me for an urgent urine and blood test. My blood work came back fine, but here’s what the urinalysis showed:
WBC 1-2, RBC 1-2, plenty of squamous epithelial cells, and some bacteria. Normal WBC and RBC counts are 0-2.
The pain actually got worse, so I ended up at the ER yesterday. Once again, the blood work was normal, but the urine results were:
RBC 2-3, WBC 5-10, lots of epithelium, and some bacteria. They gave me Spasmex via IV and referred me for a urine culture. During the day, I noticed some tiny particles after peeing. Can anyone give me a rough idea of what this might be? I'm honestly pretty terrified that it's something serious. I haven't had any fever or nausea, though.

I'm no medical expert or anything, but I guess I had similar issues when I was dealing with kidney stones. I don't know how bad your pain is, but I'd say it was probably the worst thing I've ever felt.

Ten hours of golf on the schedule today... what a grind...
I wonder if Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy can actually play perfectly enough to threaten the leaders... maybe?
I'm really hoping they can pull it off!

I can't even remember the last time I watched a tournament like this. Everyone seems to be winning for once...
Tommy Fleetwood played an incredible round yesterday. It’s a shame he didn't manage to snag the US Open title, though. I've always had a soft spot for him as a player.

I caught some of it yesterday. It was pretty rough... I guess most players are deep in the red right now. The top three are sitting at -1, but everyone else seems to be struggling with either the spread or the over/under.

Can someone tell me if this is a referral for blood or urine?

Can someone help me make sense of these results? My doctors are suspecting psoriatic arthritis. My CRP has been elevated for over a year now, and my primary care physician hasn't been able to figure out why. I actually ended up going in for physical therapy by accident because my foot was hurting so badly, and the therapist suggested it might be arthritis. I'm still waiting on the RF and anti-something results (I can't remember if it was ccb or something else... maybe PmSCl 7 Antiti?). I should have those back tomorrow.
Thanks.

I guess he’ll have to eat a whole lot more than just scraps if he actually wants to catch up to Tiger Woods.
