Maria Fisher46 said:It probably depends on what the initial CRP was. If it started out high, I guess it might take some time to fully settle back into the normal range. I don't really see much point in repeating the CRP test too soon since it takes a few days to see any meaningful change anyway. If the CRP still doesn't drop down to normal levels, then maybe further testing would be needed to rule out a possible lingering, hidden source of infection.
My CRP has just been hovering around 25 this whole time. It stayed pretty much the same both before and after the antibiotics. It's been like that for two months now, I guess.
That was such a nightmare match between Spieth and Reed, plus Cabrer Bello and Garcia... I guess the Americans held the lead for four holes just to end up tied one hole before the finish... wow...
About a month ago, I ended up in the ER because my back was killing me. It actually happened three months ago too, but they just sent me home after saying it was scoliosis. This time around, they found a tiny kidney stone. My blood work showed an elevated CRP, so I finished a course of antibiotics, but when I got tested again, my CRP is still high at 24. I went back to the lab yesterday for the third time—even though my urine culture came back totally fine—and that CRP level is still sitting at 24. I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows what might be going on or what my next move should be? Thanks.
He finally grabbed a major! That final round was something else, I guess. 🙏 🙏
But hats off to Big Lefty too, being a runner-up 11 times in majors... though like someone mentioned on Twitter, he didn't really lose, he just didn't win this time.
I suppose if you shoot a 65 in the final round and finish just three back, you know you left it all out there.
@ steeleagle152 It's Stenson, not Stanson 😬
I know, I just wasn't watching and this stupid tablet keeps typing whatever it wants instead of what I actually want. Once I realized it, I couldn't even fix it... I have to turn off that setting where it tries to predict my thoughts... hopefully you know what I mean... hahahah....
I guess I enjoy watching both Phil Mickelson and Stanson... they're both great players, but since this tournament is being held over in Europe, I'm probably going to root for Stanson.
expected Dustin took the title in the end. I'm happy for him. I didn't catch the finish because, honestly, getting up early is just too much when Monday is looming. 😢
I'm hoping we get some better weather for the rest of the week, because yesterday was just a complete disaster. Btw, there were delays in sports everywhere yesterday. I switch from golf—stopped because of the storms—to tennis—stopped because of the rain—then I check out soccer and it’s just a downpour... what a crazy day, I guess. 😢
I guess my favorites would be Rory, though I also like Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, Adam Scott, and Sergio Garcia. As for the older guys, maybe Phil Mickelson and Westwood.
