I was wondering, if I decide to switch over to a new doctor, would she be able to handle all those specific paperwork requirements—you know, things like filing an official workplace injury report—on the very same day that I officially transfer my records over to her practice?

I was just helping my niece out with some schoolwork—she’s a fourth grader over at Chicago—and honestly, we are both absolutely obsessed with this series... she couldn't even wait to finish her homework before she rushed off to start reading the book, so I went ahead and picked up the rest of the Kušanov collection for her too! 🤷

Kimberly Robinson2 said:Look, I already said this—in a school setting, "family" means a mother and a father. When they get an assignment about what Dad does at home with the family, we've got nothing to write down.
So, in this specific context, when I say "family," I'm strictly talking about the fact that there isn't a father present in the house, not making some grand statement about the concept of family itself....
Ugh, I'm just confusing everyone now.... 😁
We have a family—me, my partner, and we're doing great together—but since he isn't the biological father, I've essentially isolated the term "family" in this discussion.... honestly, who even knows what I'm saying anymore... the room is full of kids and I need to get off the computer... they're waiting to play games... 😍
Yeah, only one of us lives here. His relatives and mine all have their own addresses elsewhere.
I'm not going to keep repeating myself to you either.
I honestly can't get behind that way of looking at things... I remember having that exact same assignment growing up, and since some kids don't have one parent or even both, I just chose to write it my own way... I wrote about my mom, my aunt, my brothers, it didn't matter... at the end of the day, it all comes down to how you choose to define things for yourself, and if you approach it that way, your child will grow up seeing the world through that same lens too...

Even though my boyfriend does end up playing the dad role when we hang out with friends...😁
Honestly, what a silly way to look at things... I lost my father when I was just a little kid, and from that moment on, it was just my mom and me, making us the most complete family in the world because she worked so incredibly hard to make sure I never felt like anything was missing... To me, family isn't about bloodlines or who shows up on paper, it’s about the people you choose to build a life with, the ones you turn into family through sheer devotion... ☕
Wrong country's flag!

If you see a flag hanging from a church steeple, it’s more likely to be those four chevrons representing the four Greek beta letters... after all, the King of Kings reigns supreme over all earthly rulers, if you catch my drift regarding Jesus...
I honestly don't see why anyone would take offense at that sort of thing...
My boyfriend is absolutely obsessed with heraldry and historical emblems, so I suppose it isn't really my fault that I ended up absorbing all these random facts into my brain...🙄
