If it’s just a standard shipment, they’ll snatch it up without a second thought because they know there are zero consequences.
Of course everything comes with extra fees later. Just go down to the local USPS office; they'll lay it all out for you.

I was sitting in my kitchen this morning—sipping on some coffee from Starbucks, mind you—just reflecting on how certain people leave such an indelible mark on our lives. It’s funny how that works! You meet someone, and suddenly their energy becomes part of your own internal landscape. Anyway, I digress! My point is, Florine is truly one of a kind. Just a bright, shining light in this big, messy world of ours. kaže:
How do you all approach the whole idea of death? Do you get those pre-emptive jitters about your own end, or are you more the type to sit in quiet mourning when someone passes away? Personally, I tend to drift into deep thought about it quite often! It’s one of those heavy topics that always seems to pop up when you least expect it. I find myself pondering the "big picture" more than I probably should. Sometimes I think about my old grandfather—he was such a stoic man, always focused on the present moment—and I wonder if I'll ever reach that level of peace. Anyway, I’m curious! Is it something that keeps you up at night, or have you found a way to make peace with the inevitable? Let's chat!
Someone else’s passing is always such a heavy reminder that our time here isn't infinite. It hits you right in the chest! But honestly? I’ve been thinking about it lately—what’s inevitable is never truly a loss. We aren't just vanishing into thin air. Death is really just the long way home, bringing us back to exactly where we started. It’s all part of the cycle!
Honestly, we’re just standing here crying and mourning like we’re losing our coastline to the tide—but really, we’re just mourning ourselves.
We really are selfish to the core, aren't we? It’s just one of those things. I was sitting on my porch yesterday, sipping some coffee and watching the neighbors, and it hit me: humans are wired this way. We focus on ourselves more than we care to admit!
How can you say for certain that you haven't lost someone forever once they're gone?
Are you actually sure?
I don't think anyone can claim to know that. You can only have faith.
As for being selfish...
If someone close to me died, I'd cry. Don't even get me started on my kids.
Why would I cry? It’s true that I'd miss them and the
world we shared.
But mostly, it's for them. For the things they didn't get to finish, dying too young, wanting more life... all of it.
I wouldn't call that purely selfish, even if, like I said, selfishness plays a part.
Isn't that just how we're wired?
I'm not afraid of death. I'm only afraid of leaving too soon. I want to see my kids grown and settled.
After that... who cares.

Thanks.
Edit: My bad. Just realized there's already a -Shine-.
The issue isn't -Shine-, that's a different name. But yeah, Shine is already taken too. 🙂
Can I switch to Megan Peterson51 then?
Megan Peterson51 works (though I actually prefer your current handle), just reach out to Tyndall.
I agree. But this handle feels like I just gave away my actual full name.
Thanks!

Casey King5 said:Unfortunately, if you're in the Cincinnati area, you should see Dr. Maria Ledynski.
If the laparoscopic surgery goes smoothly, you're heading home the next day and recovery takes about 5 to 6 days.
I’m dealing with the exact same issue and I'm getting ready to go there for the procedure.
Everyone I know who had the surgery there has nothing but good things to say, so I decided to pull the trigger too. I think it'll be worth it.
Just one heads-up: the waiting list is months long (welcome to the American healthcare system).
Thanks for the tip!
Do me a favor and let me know how it goes once you're through it...
Two more questions...
Do I need a referral for this?
And is there an out-of-pocket cost? (I have a rough idea how much cash I'll need to dig out of my sock if it is).
Robin Gray8 said:My bad, I was actually talking about my male descendants, which somehow turned you into a man too. If there isn't a specialist near where you live, you'll just have to head into Chicago—it's not like it's the middle of nowhere.🤷
Of course not. They're just being annoying.
Robin Gray8 said:Look, if you’re actually serious about fixing your own issues, stop stalling and just head into downtown Chicago to get it sorted once and for all. If it bothers you that much, go ask some professionals instead of whining. Most of these creams and ointments are just basic stuff that helps people with minor cases, but for anyone dealing with chronic issues, surgery is honestly the better move. It's not like it used to be, but you still need to do your homework—everyone’s body reacts differently. And don't get me started on Hadensa; it isn't any better than the other brands out there. For some, Hemopropin works, while others just need a basic ointment.☕
Yeah, I'd probably have to deal with that too.
Just like I thought—you have to go all the way to New York for everything.
Every single month when my Hemic kicks in, I deal with absolutely agonizing pain for four to six days straight. On top of that, I can't sleep for those few days either... I’m going to try using Hadensa. Honestly, if I have to rub horse manure on myself to get relief, I’ll do it, but I'm giving this a shot first.
What do I have to lose? A few bucks?
If it doesn't work for me, fine... I'll just move on to Juris.
Still hasn't anyone bothered to answer my question...
Is there any private clinic in the Cincinnati area that does cutting, cauterizing, laser treatments, or whatever else those monsters offer?
Listen up!
Here is my wonderful experience dealing with hemorrhoids...
My husband and I have been together for about three years now. My issue is that this thing flares up every single month—without fail. It starts with itching right before my period, and then once the period hits, it just inflames massively. So, EVERY month, following my cycle—which, thankfully for my husband, is perfectly regular.
The pain is so intense I can't sit, I can't sleep, I'm walking around like a penguin, and I'm constantly on edge... it's just great.
There isn't a pill, spray, cream, or ointment in existence that kills the pain. NOTHING works. Honestly, the only thing I can imagine doing is ripping it out with pliers.
I recently went to see a proctologist. The exam was such a joke I actually thought he was kidding.
I showed up with an inflamed hemorrhoid... and his response? He told me they could perform some kind of incision, but I should come back when the inflammation goes down because he shouldn't touch it while it's swollen.
Brilliant... seriously, do whatever you want, just get it out of my life!
When I went back for the second visit, all happy thinking we’d finally solve this... he just looks at me and says, "Oh, this is great... you can go home. It's subsided, so there's nothing to cut here."
(And mind you, he barely even gave it a superficial glance)
I told him, "Look, it's going to flare up again..." To which he replied, "Ah... well, that's just how this condition is. There's nothing we can do to help you."😕 😕 😕
I said, "But you HAVE to!"😁 I cannot live like this anymore. 🙄
Then he dropped this legendary line on me: "Come back when it's inflamed (remember, he said he can't touch it when it's inflamed, right?), and if you really want me to cut it, I will... but external hemorrhoids aren't typically treated surgically."
So, goodbye, buddy! :swear:
I was up at 5:00 AM today because I couldn't sleep thanks to this lovely little creature. Now I'm looking for a private specialist, because this "relationship" needs to end.
I am begging you, if anyone knows a good private doctor—even a butcher in the Cincinnati area would do—who can help me sever all ties with my dear husband.
Thanks!
