Pharmacy recommendations? in Health ·
Here is a perfect example of how we get ripped off at local pharmacies. I honestly cannot believe the margins they are pulling. Twinlab products are a prime example of where they just bleed you dry. My parents aren't really used to ordering things online (except when I do it for them), and I lost my mind the other day when they bought this without checking with me first:

Basically, the price for these Omega fatty acids is $83 for a 90-capsule bottle.

Now look at this identical packaging: http://bit.ly/1Y0i49a

That only costs $14 (plus $4 for shipping), making it $18 total, which comes out to $40. I assume people would grab a few more items so the shipping fee becomes negligible.

How on earth can the difference be double???
This is just one instance; sometimes the gaps are way, way larger.
Go ahead, be a fool and keep buying from the pharmacy if you want.
Hip and knee pain in Health ·
I’m sharing this based on my own experience; maybe it helps someone else.
My mom suffered from excruciating hip pain for three months straight. She tried everything under the sun—doctor visits, physical therapy, specialized wellness retreats—but nothing worked. The pain would wake her up at night, and she couldn't even manage a flight of stairs. She was actually starting to consider hip replacement surgery.

So, I started digging through online forums looking for success stories or supplements that might offer relief. I bought glucosamine and a handful of other supplements, but they were useless. Then, some guy (a former athlete) on an international forum suggested trying gelatin. I ended up buying this: http://bit.ly/1QsnMyr

Mom took it three times a day (morning, noon, and night). Within a week, the pain miraculously subsided, and after a month, it vanished completely. She takes it constantly now. She tried taking a two-week break once, and the pain came right back, but as soon as she resumed the gelatin, it disappeared again. For the last two and a half years, she hasn't had a single issue with her hip. When she mentioned what she was using to her doctor, he just laughed at her. He thinks she's talking nonsense.

Here is another story. My father-in-law is a former pro football player, and his knee is shot. He’s 50, and the pain was unbearable; he could barely walk normally. Every movement felt like someone was stabbing him in the knee with a knife. Based on my mom's success, I recommended he try the gelatin. I bought him 🙂, and he takes it twice a day. He's already on his second bottle. It's the exact same result as with my mom: the pain eased after a few weeks, and today, after a couple of months, he is totally pain-free. No one believes it. He runs and walks normally and wakes up without any discomfort.

It’s cheap and it works. It might not work for everyone, though.
I’d be interested to hear if anyone else has had similar results.

You can also buy pure gelatin that you dissolve and eat like jelly every day (we haven't tried this ourselves, but here is some info on it):

Joint pain issues in Health ·
restlessbadger97 said:Hi. Writing about my wife's situation. She’s dealing with constant joint pain in her legs and knees—almost every single night. She works as a hairstylist, standing on her feet for 7 or 8 hours at a time, but I don't think that's a valid excuse for this level of discomfort. When we're watching TV in the evening, she’s constantly complaining about those KNEES AND JOINTS. She says they feel like they're "throbbing," and she’s always cold, especially in her legs. It’s July, yet she was needing to cover up her legs just a few days ago because the knee pain was so intense. She even joked that she feels like an old woman because she's either freezing or in pain, which is a bit much considering she's only 23. Does anyone have experience with this or any idea what might be causing it? We’ve tried using Voltaren gel and things like that, but it doesn't seem to help much. I know her job requires standing, but I guess it shouldn't be this bad already. Makes me wonder what happens when she actually gets older...

Greetings. What is your wife's build like? Specifically, is she struggling with excess weight? That is a frequent issue, and in those cases, the bones and joints really take a beating throughout the day. As for her legs being cold, that could definitely be a sign of poor circulation. Also, what kind of shoes does she wear during her shifts?

melloworca6 said:That's great news for your mom. How long was she taking this, and did she ever take any breaks?

She’s been on it for about 3 or 4 months now, and she hasn't taken a single break. Honestly, I don't think a break is necessary, and I haven't seen any downsides to long-term use. She takes 3 capsules a day—morning, afternoon, and evening. It is quite simply incredible. It isn't just that the pain was eased; it has vanished entirely. That is why I don't see any reason for her to ever stop.

I’m not sure if this will be helpful to anyone else, but my 57-year-old mother suddenly started dealing with intense hip pain a few months back. It just got worse and worse by the day until the pain became absolutely unbearable. She could barely get out of bed in the morning, let alone make it down a flight of stairs. Every single day was a struggle. She went for hip imaging, and the doctors diagnosed her with osteoarthritis. They sent her to some rehab center in Colorado for physical therapy, and during that whole time, she had to take Advil every single day just to manage the agony. This went on for about six months, and nothing made an impact. Then I ordered that Glucosamine supplement (which was packed with other stuff), but even that didn't do much. Eventually, I started digging around on some international forums, and someone recommended gelatin. I ordered it immediately, and within just one week, my mom noticed a shift. After a month, the pain was barely noticeable, and after two months of consistent use, the pain vanished as if it had never existed. A total recovery. Today, she’s out in the garden working, walking around, and is completely mobile. There isn't a single sign left of the condition. It is honestly incredible when I compare it to how she was before. She had actually started talking about needing hip surgery. When she mentions it to her doctor, he just laughs and says that if it were that simple, everyone would be doing it.

Look, our experience tells a different story. She can't even remember the last time she reached for a painkiller, whereas before, she couldn't even roll out of bed without them.
