Robin Fox2 said:Why haven't the others who are practically in the Democratic Party's pocket been purged yet? Or do you actually believe that Prgomet and Petrin are some pillars of stability and integrity, while everyone else just nods along to whatever Bo serves them on a silver platter?

Prgomet is just looking for payback against the GOP, though I suspect he’s actually hurting inside because Zoki played him like a fool, letting the whole country watch as they cobbled together a coalition without a single expert from Bridge... and as for Petrin... the man is a total joke.

I don't think that's the case. In my view, everyone involved is being incredibly pragmatic. As for this 10:5 ratio—firstly, we have to ask ourselves: who exactly was the one pushing that narrative in the first place? It brings us back to the old debate of rumors versus reality.

Furthermore, we could just as easily counter that specific story with the rumor that four more people are planning to leave. I suppose we'll find out tomorrow.

Well, yeah, it’s nothing more than just talk, isn't it?

mellowotter36 said:It’s wild how some people here seem to trust Zoki more than Petrov, especially when there's actual evidence showing he’s been trying to poach Bridge representatives for his own side all month.

Based on the deal made with Bridge, Joe Biden would be the Speaker of Congress. Honestly, I just can't see him stooping that low given how massive his ego is.

I am entirely convinced that both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party have been playing those exact same games. Even Petrov admitted previously that both sides were actively working it. Given that, calling this a "last-minute crisis" feels laughably absurd, doesn't it? Especially when you consider how much he's already gained and how certain he seems about the absolute loyalty of his own people.

Robin Fox2 said:I don't trust anyone, not even my own judgment ☕ Though I am reasonably certain that someone coerced Petrov, who then turned around and pressured the rest of them...

The "traitors" have been purged, leaving behind those who have held their ground remarkably well despite the endless negotiations and shifting sides they've faced along the way.

Precisely.

And if Karamarko has even a shred of common sense left, he could pull whatever moves he needs to tomorrow. After all, Bridge wouldn't even secure half of its current seats in the next election, a fact the current leadership isn't blind to. Who's to say Petrov won't end up as the head of The Cabinet, only to step down for "family reasons" in about six months?

ironpanther5 said:Yeah, that political guy (mostobran) actually confirmed it, though he eventually admitted his source was someone close to Stipe Petrin. First, Zoki tried playing the outsider angle with Prgomet, then came the whole Petrin situation, and now we have this latest attempt. God knows how many others are caught up in this.
And now we're all supposed to believe that Petrov somehow pulled off this masterstroke of manipulation, flipping 15 different people—most of whom didn't even know each other forty days ago—from all walks of life, and turned them all toward the Republican Party.
The Republican Party? Please. In recent years, they've become the go-to choice for your average American who barely finished second grade, or at least that charming little clique led by the charismatic Tomica and the mysterious Brkić, basically the darling party of those newspaper columnists who spend their lives manufacturing public opinion. For real, a massive chunk of actual conservatives won't even touch them.
Those 15 Bridge representatives were practically tripping over themselves to play their part and sign on alongside the Republican stalwarts, Jandroković, Albanka, Kosor, and that defector Mexican. As for the ones who refused to fall in line, well, they were handled by that handsome psychiatrist, Božo.

You make a fair point; it’s much more realistic to believe that everything fell apart because of some random, out-of-nowhere call from the Democratic Party to one of his representatives, causing him to abandon a three-party coalition and most of the reforms the Republican Party had rejected. And then, he just gave blank support to some phantom parliamentary majority—though one wonders exactly what or who that majority was for—after he had previously, back when everything was still going smoothly, refused the signatures that would have already made him the leader. All of this just so he could sit down with Karamarko and Vance for twenty-four hours to handpick a hundred people for various positions and build a stable government from scratch. It sounds perfectly reasonable, doesn't it?

But really, it's all just speculation. The raw fact remains: anyone who isn't for the Republican Party is currently being tossed aside. I don't think there could be a clearer indicator than that.

mellowotter36 said:They got handed a red card because they went rogue during negotiations and tried to poach representatives on their own.

Is that 🤣

saint Karamarko and Vaso haven't done a single thing to interfere with Bridge over these last five weeks outside of official channels. If you really believe that story, feel free to let it lull you to sleep.

Robin Fox2 said:Look, you’re operating under the assumption that he was a Republican partisan from the start, or that there's some hidden agenda driving him toward them.

I don't think 🤷 he had a reason or an opportunity to jump ship every single day for the last month... why wait until today? I have no idea, and I certainly won't bother guessing, especially not ten hours after the announcement. I'm sure we'll eventually uncover the full truth, whenever that may be...

I hold that assumption because it was confirmed by insiders—specifically, members of his own circle who were ultimately shown the door precisely because they resisted that direction. Isn't it just simple logic that when the only people being pushed out are those standing against the Republican Party, it tells a much louder story than any theory could? I honestly don't see how anyone can just look past that.

Robin Fox2 said:Božo just completely trashed the Democratic Party, and now he’s essentially... 👋

Božo, honestly, damn you... those of us who actually voted for you would probably do it all over again, but go ahead and run off with whoever you want. I won't be spitting on you just yet... there's still plenty of time left for that...

Of course it isn't about the decision itself, but rather the clumsy way he went about it—specifically, his entire approach over this last month and a half. If he had just pivoted toward the Republican Party a week after the election, I might have just snorted and thought, "Fine, whatever, that's your prerogative."

But this whole theatrical farce, where he ended up performing the most ridiculous mental gymnastics imaginable just to honor either his own word or someone else's initial intention? Honestly, it felt like nothing more than a way to make us all look like fools.

Michelle Doyle61 said:Good grief. You’re standing there as a true humanist, calling out a massive injustice while everyone else is blinded by pure hatred. Most people are stuck seeing everything in black and white, unable to grasp the deeper nuances, but you actually see the bigger picture. You're like a modern-day Sophie Scholl. Unfortunately, reality isn't working in your favor right now. The vast majority of people are looking at this exactly how you are. Honestly, the West deserves what it's getting. It's just tragic how many miserable souls have lost their lives because of sheer stupidity. It’s gone so far that people are actually claiming the white man invented genocide. Talk about peak white guilt.

It’s a shame we can't seem to have a grounded, rational conversation about Islam and its actual teachings. Most people in this group are honestly fascinating—there’s such a wide spectrum of perspectives here. But when this topic comes up, it feels like talking to those self-proclaimed humanists who think they have all the answers. They immediately start pivoting. "But look at Christianity," or "Look at this historical event," or "All religions are essentially the same." They’ll claim Islam is just about love and peace, then turn around and call Americans narrow-minded for disagreeing. It’s always the same cycle. It gets exhausting.

Look, people are out here throwing stones at others. They literally bury someone in the sand and pelt them with rocks until they’re dead, all because of adultery or because they decided to leave Islam. They justify it by claiming the Creator of the universe commanded it. All over the world, Muslims believe this is God's word, so they give it their blessing. I’ll say it: you have to be a psychopath to do that. And whenever I speak up, people call me narrow-minded. It’s like I’m not allowed to call these acts sick without having to bring up the historical massacres committed by every single religion in history just to make my point. But that’s the reality—it is the official policy of certain Middle Eastern nations. Official policy. In those places, even trying to convert a Muslim can be treated as a criminal offense. Where are the global protests? Where are the massive demonstrations from the Muslim community around the world saying Saudi Arabia is wrong? Where are the voices saying, "This isn't actually Islam"? Nobody is stepping up to call these people psychopaths or labeling these punishments as insane. Honestly, if you’re stoning someone because you think a command from a thousand years ago still holds sway today, you’re a psychopath. At least in my book.

I’ll say it again. There are millions—hell, hundreds of millions—of Muslims out there who don't do that. They actually understand what the Quran represents. But honestly, they aren't even the main issue anymore. The real problem lies with the other HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of Muslims who take things literally. In places like parts of the Midwest, for instance, you see significant groups who believe every single word is literal divine command, even when it calls for stoning people. STONING. We need to stand behind the normal, moderate Muslims and give them the support they need to reform the religion from within. We’re never going to achieve that if we just pretend the problem doesn't exist.

What I’m trying to get at is that the reasons someone would go out and set off a bomb in a crowd of innocent people aren't simple. It’s never just one thing; there’s a whole chain of factors at play. I think we can all agree on that. But in my view, tucked right in the middle of all those reasons, you'll find religion. Honestly, I think the very things you see happening during these attacks make that point pretty clear.

Have you ever actually tried stoning someone who wasn't already buried in the ground?

Don't grasp the question? Well, thanks for nothing.

He probably would have tackled that too, but then again, isn't time simply running too short for him? ☕

Academician Fomenko—and I think he’s actually got a point here—isn't trying to debunk the geological age of the planet itself, but rather he's challenging the mainstream timeline we've all been taught ☕

James Anderson5 said:No one can honestly claim Muslims are more backward than Westerners when about 40% of Americans believe the world was created just 10,000 years ago based on biblical accounts

http://www.gallup.com/poll/170822/be...n-origins.aspx

I even know people right here in the States who hold those views. The only difference is they’re often struggling financially and living in unstable environments with few ways out—which is basically perfect breeding ground for extremism. It's really no mystery why someone like Hitler rose to power in Germany back when the nation was economically broken

On a side note, I caught that list of demands being used in the negotiations for the new administration—if they actually pull all that off just for the sake of entrepreneurship, more power to them, otherwise neither the Democrats nor the Republicans would ever get it through

Good grief, what a collection of fools.

And yet, we all know the truth is that the world was created in 4004 B.C., just as the Presbyterian Church teaches through the Gospel of Jesus and the Judgment of the Eighth Day—the only true faith, if one is seeking clarity.

Jessica Gonzalez said:Politics is mostly a game, and I guess the Republicans were the first ones to really figure that out, which is probably why they grabbed power so quickly. They work hard to secure those votes from Americans living abroad because they know how much they matter. It’s essentially a battle, and in a fight for control, you have to use every tool at your disposal. The Democrats, on the other hand, seem pretty ineffective when it comes to reaching out to our fellow citizens overseas.

The Democrats have actually performed quite phenomenally over the last six months, at least regarding this political battle. Even with a campaign that lacked real substance, they managed to claw back about 10 to 15 percent of the deficit they held against the Republicans. It feels somewhat reminiscent of how the GOP managed to narrow the gap during the previous cycle.

One can almost see the fingerprints of high-priced American PR consultants all over the whole operation.

As for who might come in third, none of the candidates mentioned are anywhere near the Libertarian level, nor could they ever be. Essentially, they succeeded simply by hammering home a few clear messages—unlike the chaotic mess of the Green Party, the ideological vacuum of the far-right factions, or those fringe groups that remain both incoherent and overly aggressive—all while avoiding any major scandals on their own side.

It’s a shame they didn't include a running tally of all those scandals from the privatization era right through to the Sanders years. Back then, we probably wouldn't have had the processing power required to crunch numbers that massive quite so quickly.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and looking at this, I find myself agreeing. This is what true character looks like. You have to hand it to the President; his humanity is easily his most defining quality.

Is there anything more revealing than watching a politician attempt to reconcile their public persona with the raw concept of basic humanity? One can’t help but wonder if certain figures, like Karamarko, truly grasp the weight of what they say, or if they simply view morality as another tactical piece on a chessboard. Does the pursuit of power inherently require a certain detachment from empathy, or is it possible for someone to navigate those high-stakes political waters without losing their sense of decency along the way? It makes you pause and consider whether true leadership is found in strength alone, or in the quiet, often overlooked capacity for compassion. 🤣

A little corner for some grammar observations:
Will they actually pull it off?

Who will be the next Prime Minister of the United States?

I’ll be right here with you all, pulling for a win until the very end.

Is there anything more predictable than when people start labeling certain art forms as inherently unpatriotic? It seems we’ve reached a point where graffiti is being branded as fundamentally anti-American, as if a spray can could somehow dismantle our national identity overnight. But does a bit of paint on a brick wall truly threaten the fabric of our country, or is this just another way to label anything we can't quite control?

🙏🙏
