I took a look at the covers of that magazine for the first time yesterday, and I have to say, their approach is nothing short of revolting; it isn't an exercise in free speech, but rather a blatant mockery of Islam and its core values.
On a side note, that young woman, maybe twenty-five or twenty-six, who supposedly escaped? She’s been caught by federal agents. There's your answer. ☕
Which specific values of Islam are being mocked here? And even if they are, what of it? Is there any particular sense of humor or any specific subject that is somehow off-limits from satire? Which caricature are we actually discussing?
Personally, I find it just as distasteful when people write about politics and end up insulting my common sense, which is one of the most important principles I hold dear. Am I allowed to take them out back and finish them off for that?
It’s quite a sight seeing SS and Matthew Anderson4 strutting down those main streets, all while "protect us and watch over us" plays in the background 😂

So, imagine ZZ, SS, Carlos, and Walter Grant5 were all playing a game of Sorry!, and once they wrapped things up, SS headed out to catch a flight because he had an early morning class, ZZ went off to dive into some heavy intellectual literature, Carlos ended up getting hit with two drinks for Trisomy, and Walter Grant5 just went to watch a movie.
Based on everything I just told you, figure out which one of them walked away as the loser. 😂

That is only true if you manage to get a decent spiral on it.

Naturally, this all happens during those brief interludes in our academic deliberations. One can't help but wonder if we are facing a sudden descent into total madness, a true *mens insana in corpore* 😂 where everything just falls apart.
To circle back to the main point—I’m not actually disputing your ability to throw that ball, but I find the claim that you could launch it as easily as any standard football to be pretty hard to swallow.
Robin Fox2 said:Sixty yards under what circumstances—during a game or just whenever? I personally can't heave that ball more than 50 yards. Fine, maybe it wasn't 50 yards, perhaps it was less; maybe the official ball had a different mass than the one we were using, though that seems unlikely, I suppose... Look, I’m ready to stand in front of the FBI headquarters and take a shot at you from 20 yards away, and it never even crosses my mind that you wouldn't be able to hit me from that same distance without any trouble at all...
And you think 50 to 60 yards is a short distance? Even NFL goalkeepers can't throw "our" kind of ball that far, and they’re throwing it like a discus—meaning they aren't gripping it between their fingers, which inherently costs them power because you can't swing through with as much force, and they don't even have to worry about putting any spin on it.
By the way, man, I know you’re just trolling us; at first, I actually thought you were being serious, but once you mentioned you guys were just messing around and tossing it fifty yards at a time, the whole thing became crystal clear.
Even seasoned pros like NFL QBs often struggle to hit those kinds of distances, and I was just reading that Joe Flacco, who is widely considered to have one of the strongest arms in the league, holds a record of about sixty yards.
But here you are, chucking it thirty, forty, fifty yards like it's nothing, probably aiming at a fly on the wall.
If you’re going to insist on being added to the mix like some kind of wildcard variable in a parabola, fine, let's play. Why don't you try hurlng an American football straight at someone from twenty or thirty yards away and we'll see how that theory holds up?
Or perhaps you just missed out on making millions in the NFL.☕
It isn’t really a matter of opinion or belief, but rather a simple principle of physics; it is just much easier and more controlled to throw and catch something perfectly symmetrical—something that doesn't shift its external dimensions through rotation, like an anvil, for instance, which does.
You might find a shuttlecock easier to catch than a basketball, yet you’ll likely struggle just as much when trying to throw it. It really comes down to the sheer scale of the object rather than its shape, doesn't it?
And anyone who has ever attempted to hurl an American football more than twenty yards knows exactly how unpredictable it becomes if you don't nail the right spin. Not to mention the nightmare of actually trying to catch one.
