Also, can someone please explain that drawing Dakota made at the end with the two heads? Since her dad was Charlie and he killed everyone, I thought she was supposed to be perfectly fine, while David just assumed she was traumatized. Everything clicked until that drawing popped up. Was she dealing with a split personality or something? Help me out here before my brain melts.

Right now, I'm running a generic, unbranded 400W power supply in my PC. I just picked up an MS 400W unit and an ATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB DDR5, but I'm a little unsure. Should I swap out that no-name power supply for the MS one before I install the card?

Here’s the deal... I’d honestly rather pick up a 5770 with a full warranty from a big retailer than buy one from you when there's no telling how old it actually is for $500. That's a lot of cash to risk if it dies on me in two months. I just want some peace of mind. Still, I definitely need that power supply since I'm leaning towards getting the 5770.
The price for a new 4850 is $167 while the 5770 goes for $47...based on those numbers, the 5770 ought to be twice as good. This 4850 is pretty outdated, though.
Bryan Evans77, what do you think about me grabbing that power supply and the Radeon 5770 from you? I've been reading up and it seems solid. It's listed at $217 on Craigslist, whereas a brand new one goes for $1,400.
If my power supply is too weak... and I decide to swap in an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570, could I actually fry the card? Or would it just kill the PSU and maybe some other components? If it’s just the power supply at risk, I really don't care—I was planning on buying a new one anyway...

A friend of mine handed me an MSI 400W unit, but it’s definitely seen better days. You mentioned before that 350W is plenty for a 5770, provided the power supply is actually decent... so, what do you think? Is this MSI enough to get the job done?

Once I pick up the 5670, I won't even need to worry about a new power supply, which is a relief... From what I can tell, my current setup should be more than enough for it.

I was actually pretty happy with my 4650... so moving up to a 5670 would be a massive jump for me. I wouldn't call myself a hardcore gamer—I'm definitely not the type to drop that kind of cash just for the sake of it. I just want something that can handle newer titles smoothly. It doesn't need to run everything at max settings or ultra-high resolution; I just need it to work. I was thinking about picking up that higher-end Panda Dura model. Some guy obsessed with MW online saw my listing, where I mentioned the card runs the game like a dream, and he snapped it up. Here’s the situation: I got $400 for it, and with another $300 on hand, I've got $800 total. Is the 5670 actually a good move? It's pretty basic and cheaper, but for my resolution of 1280x1024, 512MB should be plenty. Honestly, it's an upgrade over the 4650, so it can only go up from here. Since I managed to flip the old one so well, I'll be able to grab something twice as powerful with this cash. What do you guys think? Is the 5670 worth it for $150?
