Does anyone remember the name of that movie starring George Clooney where he plays a soldier during that big American civil conflict...?
So, my doctor actually told me I should probably steer clear of seeing a chiropractor because they said there might be some risks involved, which is a little nerve-wracking since I don't really live in constant pain or anything, it's just that my neck gets super stiff every once in a while... and then, get this, when I had my neck scanned recently, they found two herniated discs and said things aren't looking exactly great, so now it's basically a coin toss whether things will get better or just go downhill from here, and I've got an appointment with a specialist next week to get everything checked out, but honestly, I'm just terrified in case they tell me I need surgery😢
Alexander Hall43, I have to ask, why on earth are you so against going through with the surgery? I mean, if things have really gotten that bad, I’ve heard all sorts of scary stories floating around about spinal surgery and neck procedures... but is it truly so dangerous and risky that you feel like you absolutely have to avoid it at any cost??
If anyone here has gone through this already or maybe knows a little more about disc herniation, I would be so incredibly grateful if you could share some insight... I know surgery might be on the table eventually, but honestly, I’ve heard such scary stories about those kinds of procedures that I'm feeling pretty anxious about it all
So, just a few days ago, I went in for an MRI and it turns out I’ve got some disc prolapse happening at C5, C6, and C7... basically, my neck is a bit of a mess right now! It's definitely a lot to take in all at once... Has anyone else here dealt with similar issues? I'd love to hear how you all manage with it or what helps you get through the day...
