Oatmeal with milk, heated just enough to soften the grains... there truly is no better way to start the day.
Try taking one and a half scoops post-workout mixed with glucose or dextrose and water, rather than milk.
You can certainly use them as a supplement, though they aren't strictly necessary if your diet is already dialed in. That being said, you can still take them even on your non-training days.
Best regards,
Perhaps you might consider transitioning to a more frequent eating schedule... aiming for roughly 5 to 7 smaller meals throughout the day.
Look, let’s be blunt: you just need to get moving. Whether it’s hitting the pavement for a run or joining a local gym, physical activity is non-negotiable. If you want to see actual results, try cycling through your carbohydrate intake—it’s an incredibly effective way to drop weight without it immediately rushing back. For instance, you could cycle through 150g of carbs one day, 75g the next, then zero, before starting over at 150g. Stick to combinations of protein and fats in your meals, and whatever you do, never mix fats and carbs in the same sitting. Additionally, if you find yourself gaining fat easily, try cutting out carbs entirely after 4:00 or 5:00 PM. Finally, I highly recommend tracking your daily caloric intake versus your expenditure; it’s the only way to truly understand where you stand. Best of luck.
