For now we're just playing smart. I guess if we can just stop forcing it so much and move the ball faster, we'll be okay.

I guess we just weren't ready for Germany. We got way too comfortable after those big wins, and honestly, it looked like we didn't even prep properly for the matchup against the French. They were basically just watching film of a game the French had lost before stepping onto the court. It felt like we went in with that old-school "we got this" attitude, thinking it would be an easy win.

Things are gonna go differently this time, I guess.

I honestly don't doubt for a second that our guys have what it takes. They can definitely do it, I guess.

It's hard to stay positive before games like this, but... it'll be good, you'll see.

If we were actually physically ready, I wouldn't be so pessimistic. I'm not expecting anything, really. Maybe a miracle happens, I guess.

If we can just shut down those guys when they try to run their two-man plays on offense, and if Lino decides to bench Vori or Sulica to stop them from pulling Dinart out of the paint, maybe we'll actually stand a chance.

We really need our defense to be absolutely locked in if we want to set up those easy transition buckets. So far, we haven't really been tested defensively at this tournament, maybe just a little bit against Poland, and then a few scraps with Canada and Norway. But honestly? It’s probably not going to be enough to hold off the French.

If they just play set plays against a zone defense, we're probably looking at a loss. I guess.

Our team has already done so much, especially considering everything they're dealing with.
We should probably be realistic and admit we aren't playing at our best—between Lin and all the injuries/missing players, it’s tough—but there's no point complaining.
Making the semifinals is a huge win; anything beyond that would be nothing short of a miracle.
If it turns into a standard game, we don't really have a shot.
They say miracles happen, though, so maybe something unexpected happens tomorrow.

I mean, sure, we have a shot at winning if everything just goes perfectly wrong for them. Like, maybe Omeyer wakes up with a pinched nerve and can't defend, or Karabatić gets food poisoning from some bad seafood during lunch and misses the game, or Gilles accidentally gets hit by a truck on his way to the bus because a car just isn't enough to move him, or maybe Narcissus and Fernandez just have an off day.😬

We’ve definitely shown we have depth in our offense. Our teamwork is solid, everything feels planned out—no crazy shots, everyone stays focused, and we're sticking to the playbook. Lino is doing what he does best, making great tactical calls and giving killer advice from the sidelines... I guess saying "be heroes" sounds genius when it works, right? Who would've thought the other side would be caught off guard by one of Lino's last-minute plays.😕😁

Anyway, I kind of feel bad for the French team. We're probably going to steamroll them like a freight train, so they might as well stay home.

The Scandinavians have always lived by that 3-2-1 defense rule—they just don't seem to know how to handle playing against one. Though, obviously, I'm not talking about the 3-2-1 we used against the Danes; that was honestly painful to watch.
If we stay locked in and if our momentum actually holds up, I guess we won't run into huge issues. But if we mess around on defense like we did a few times during this preseason and let Egea run all over us, we'll have nobody to blame but ourselves.

I'm feeling pretty optimistic today, though.

On the flip side, if we get stuck playing static, we're gonna give up easy goals by overworking our 6-0 defense, and we probably shouldn't try to shut down Egea too hard, because that might backfire.😁

Looks like the refs are trying to hand the win to the Canadians by tossing two of their guys out at once—it's 14:13 for Canada at halftime.😁

Dzomba hasn't been playing right all season. I guess I really miss Zrnic, not just for his wing play, but because he’s our guy at the free-throw line.

We really need to grab this win today so we can rest up before the semifinals. After that, I don't care who we face, as long as it isn't France.😁
