Anyway, I am absolutely losing it over this whole theory about whether we’re getting a second term for Donald Trump—or maybe even some younger version from Florida—back in the White House, especially with everything going down in Europe and the war over there.
Europe is basically acting like a deer caught in the headlights. 🙏
Arthur Sanders74 said:If we look at actual, documented reality, there wasn't any war on the ground in Europe while Trump was in office; instead, things kicked off under Obama and now under Biden. And that's not even mentioning the massive waves of refugees from places like Syria, Libya, and Iraq that flooded Europe during Obama's tenure—the so-called "peacemaker" who was arguably bloodier than his predecessor, the chimpanzee.
Your logic isn't exactly a superpower, rowdytiger13... 🕺
The official reports have finally come out, debunking Trump's supposed "Russian collusion" by showing the FBI had zero evidence and was basically just running on lies pulled from Hillary's database... you really think the media is going to spend months harping on that? Not a chance.
Check Reuters for the details.

rowdytiger13 said:The comment is basically talking about how lost Europe is whenever the political scene in the US gets shaky—plus, the whole issue of being way too dependent on the US for military muscle and defense. This article also brings up Macron's little initiative and the massive disagreements happening across Europe regarding it.
+ It's honestly hilarious, the comment and the entire article itself.
No need to start acting like you're fighting for your life just yet. Everything's fine.

rowdytiger13 said:It’s always been about bloc voting. Honestly, the Scandinavian bloc used to run the show until those countries from the old Yugoslavia region showed up. They were the first ones to start pushing back against the whole bloc mentality. 🤣
Look at the Irish—they're claiming they lost just because they don't have many neighbors nearby... please, let's not pretend it's actually because the singer can't hit a note. 🍿
And look at how Israel did, even though they literally have zero neighbors competing in the contest. 🤣

Anyway, you can pick up on that while you're out shopping for some new bling for the summer season. Gold and sapphires are totally played out; everyone's wearing platinum and rubies paired with bronze and cubic zirconia now.👍

Last night, Europe showed the rest of the voting world (because we already know how they roll) exactly why people call it the "old hag."
The jury basically exposed all the hypocrisy, corruption, fake morality, and pure theater by throwing it right in everyone's face.
They aren't getting another cent from me. Honestly, smart move by Viktor Orbán saying Canada didn't stand a chance at this contest anyway. Seriously, forget about Finland—the Swedish lobby is just too damn strong. America doesn't even matter in this lineup.
Organizationally, everything was flawless. Top tier. Props to the UK.
If one more person tells me how beautiful Lorren is, I’m going to assume heterosexuality is extinct. She looks like a shredded Terminator. If you want to talk about a beautiful woman, look at the Israeli woman.
sorry Manchi... It was so painfully obvious they were pumping her points so nobody could catch up once the public vote kicked in, especially since it was decided months ago that the Terminator had to win. Honestly, screw what ZM thinks!
Edit: I'm actually glad the Israeli woman took third. God knows she can't sing (unlike that whiny Swiss man), but she's stunning. The song is a banger, it's got rhythm, and her dancing is perfect. Israel might not have neighbors, but they've got cash and a massive diaspora. Whatever! Let them have it!
While the Ukrainian representative was performing, Russians were literally shelling their hometown... but clearly, nobody gives a damn about this contest.
Larry Walker24 said:Honestly, this year's Eurovision isn't really doing it for me either.
For me, the winner from France was the best one.Larry Walker24 said:The absolute worst part is seeing this trend where someone takes the trophy while the crowd is just chanting "Cha Cha Cha."
The jury this year is honestly a joke.Larry Walker24 said:Just for rowdytiger13:
If anyone deserved the win, it should have been the Frenchwoman. She wasn't my favorite, but vocally she was the strongest, and her stage presence was impressive, even if the staging felt a bit restrictive and ultimately flopped. Her reaction was unnecessary, but whatever.
If they had just padded her score (to a reasonable extent), fine... but instead, they pumped up the terminator in the toaster just because of some ABBA nonsense. I'm reading that ABBA already canceled their appearance, and if that's true... BRAVO, legends!
"Cha, cha, cha" gets stuck in your head. It’s not high art, but it’s a classic Eurovision winner—catchy performance, catchy song. That's what Eurovision is actually about, not Loreen whining into a toaster which the jury considers "art," while the common people couldn't see the vision.
Noah has great moves but sings worse, so she leaned into the dancing and a catchy tune. It worked. Third place is a solid result.
It was expected that Let 3 would get snubbed by the jury, but not to this extreme. That's why the public rewarded them, and I believe them when they say they don't care about the jury; those voters matter, and they're happy.
Jury power needs to be limited. They shouldn't be in a position to override the public vote. We can't have them pumping up a contestant's score to the point where the audience's voice becomes irrelevant. That power needs to be taken away from them.
