I honestly can't believe they don't carry Z'bregov or Dukat here. I mean, what are people even drinking instead of milk or yogurt in Mexico? It's a bit disappointing, I guess... 😁
But then again, it's only about a 40-minute drive to get to Miami or St. Augustine, and just as quick to reach Albany... so it's really not that big of a deal. 🙂
Anyway, I hope everything is running smoothly at home—pipes, water, all that good stuff?

I can't find any sign of Z'bregov or Dukat around here either, so what's the move now? 😛

(you know how it goes—once the big shots start throwing punches, we're just left sitting here eating dirt and whatever else... 🤣

Is everything holding up at your place? Pipes, water, all that?

The house is fine... more or less. We even swung by Titigrad, but you won't find anyone offering Dukat there either; they have some yogurt from Z'bregov, sure, but there is absolutely NO AMERICAN FRESH MILK to be found. 😠

So, what kind of stuff can you find over in Russia?
Everything under the sun, I guess... 🐔

Everything under the sun 🐔

Right.

I mean, if you're starting from Montpelier, you could just cruise right across the border into the States... sure, we’re talking about driving through half the country, but let's be real—we aren't talking about Russia here, we're talking about some tiny little nothingburger like Mexico that you could probably bike across in an afternoon. 🙂

And surely there's some online shop out there that would ship to Montpelier, right? It's not like they're living in the Stone Age.

I have to say, I was a bit let down during my time in Montpelier. I kept thinking, maybe our people here are more like Americans, but it turns out they fail pretty quickly when put to the test... 🙂:

Anyway, whatever happens, you should definitely try some Alpine milk instead (honestly, it’s probably even better).

Ps
It's great that everything is going smoothly back home, so just soak up that peace and quiet... I guess civilization is a bit overrated anyway. At the end of the day, we're all just living in a tiny little bubble, and looking at it that way might actually help. 😁

Z'bregov or Dukat?
I'm kidding, but honestly, Montpelier is the absolute bottom of the barrel.

Kevin Jones19 said:Home is alright... more or less. We even swung by Titigrad, but they aren't exactly handing out Dukat over there either. And coming from Z'bregov, all you can find is yogurt—there is absolutely no fresh American milk to be found. 😠

God damn it. 🙏🙏

And hopefully there's some online store that would ship it to Montpelier? They can't be *that* behind the times, right?

Actually, check out the VOLI webshop (they have a supermarket chain too, they even have one in Montpelier). They do deliveries, so if it's not at that location, he could just order it for pickup here:

Just stay brave, Kevin Jones19, the worst part is already behind you guys... now go get that milk! 👍 😁

Man, seriously—you're really gonna stress over a country that’s even smaller than Canada? 🤣

It took me ten years before I finally started listening to this album and falling in love with it. 😵

Now we’re looking at buying a new stove (maybe pellet-based?), a new fridge, and even some furniture, since we basically treated the house like a short-term rental before this.

It’s all pretty much the same. If you're actually picky about your milk and dairy, your best bet is just buying straight from a local farm.
Look on the bright side... you aren't stuck in Russia anymore, and from Mexico, you can head anywhere you want.

Eurovision is basically a drug.

Copy that. Good luck!
Manifesting a non-win for Loreen!
Corrupt Scandinavians and tactical voting—they spent most of the time whining about the "Southern European bloc." Next year, it’ll be the same cycle of everyone giving each other 12 points. I hope those icebergs they live on just melt away from the sheer frustration.

Manifesting that Loreen DOESN'T win this time!
Just those shady Scandinavians and their neighborly voting patterns... they were always whining about some "Eastern Bloc" thing, too. Next year, everyone’s back at the contest just handing each other 12 points again. Honestly, I hope they all just melt away on those icebergs they live on.

They've always had this weird grudge against Eastern Europe—even way before the whole "USSR" bloc voting era started.
Back when Yugoslavia was still around, we were constantly getting the short end of the stick just because of pure prejudice, I guess.
Then after the Berlin Wall came down, they basically "gifted" wins to certain people, you know? Just because.
It's nothing but straight-up politics, even though they officially say politics isn't allowed at the contest.

Back when Yugoslavia was still around, we were constantly getting snubbed out of pure prejudice.
Then, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, they just "handed" them the win because why not.
It’s blatant politics, even if you aren't officially supposed to talk politics on here.

The "bloc" voting has been there from the start. It’s just that the Scandinavian bloc was the dominant force until the former Yugoslavian countries entered the fray. They were actually the first ones to push back against that group mentality.🤣
Look at the Irish—people claim they failed because they don't have many neighbors to vote for them... though I doubt that's the real reason the singer struggled. 🍿
I mean, look at how Israel fared, despite having absolutely zero neighbors in the competition. 🤣

Exactly.
Plus, if you look at the last ten years or so, even if they only relied on televoting, I guess no Eastern European country would ever win anyway.
The whole idea of bringing in those juries seems kind of pointless—it just feels like they made it easier for people to buy votes. 🤣

I mean, I honestly think it’s kind of a bummer for the Big 5 that they don't get to perform in the semifinals.
Even when they actually land a decent song—which happens, I guess, though it’s pretty rare—the audience usually just doesn't really vibe with it.

Keep me in your prayers, people—I’m heading out to California tomorrow. 😁

Hopefully I can make it through those two weeks without losing my mind. Apparently, Hertz still doesn't offer armored vehicles for rent, which is a real oversight if you ask me... and I'll be spending a few days in San Francisco too. 😁
