I see where you're coming from. But look, I have to give the folks on the left some credit here—mostly because deep down in my soul, I’m still a die-hard old-school liberal at heart.

It wasn't just Bernie being the first Democrat used as a "honeypot" for the working class, the poor, and the true progressives. Back in 2004, we had that "Ye Haa" guy, Howard Dean—man, talk about a letdown! Then in 2008, it was Obama himself: young, anti-establishment, anti-war (well, mostly a liar in the end, let's be real)... then 2016 and 2020 brought us Bernie Sanders. People usually fall into two camps when talking about Bernie: the first theory is that the party elites (the Clinton-Biden-Obama crowd and their handlers) totally sidestepped him—there’s even this rumor about a meeting in 2016 after which Bernie supposedly softened up, if you want to be polite about it. The second theory—which I find myself believing more as time goes on—is that Bernie simply isn't "smart enough" for the big leagues, to put it delicately. 😬

Honestly? Just let RFK keep talking. Let him run his mouth as much as possible; time will tell what he's actually made of.
