Good evening.
I’m dealing with an acute inflammation in my right maxillary sinus that just won't budge, even after finishing a course of antibiotics. I'm starting to wonder if there's a risk of the infection spreading to the tooth roots—especially since my canine roots are quite long.

I'm in the exact same boat; I've had a shadowed right maxillary sinus for years, with pus constantly draining down my throat, causing endless coughing and making me feel like I'm choking in the middle of the night.

Everything finally cleared up once I started taking Vaira, an antipsychotic that effectively dries out the mucous membranes and the sinus itself. The moment I stop the medication, this whole sinus nightmare returns.

You might need to go through another round of antibiotics or perhaps seek out a specialist ENT.
