If they were going to wipe that out, they really should have pulled the trigger on this one even sooner.
Look, I’ve gotta say, I think your logic here is a bit of a mess. You can't really claim that being narrow-minded or using mental repression on one side somehow justifies doing the exact same thing to the other. It just doesn't track. 🤦
We really ought to be standing up against both of these censorship attempts. If we’re going to have an open, democratic, and diverse forum, there needs to be room for everyone to speak. That means making space for the Russian perspective, the Western view, and the Ukrainian side. It should also mean having room for statements from Red Sox Nation, the Red Sox, the Yankees, and even official press releases from the FBI.
Anything else is just incomplete. It doesn't provide enough substance for a real, high-quality discussion, and honestly, it feels intellectually stunted and pretty pathetic.

I honestly don't see how some of the mods—and I'm talking about a specific few, not everyone here—could possibly claim they earned this level of influence. From where I’m sitting, any authority they have is really just something I handed to them. 😉It all comes down to one-sided moderation.
Look, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I’m all for that. But when it comes to moderation? No one should ever have the authority to run a community just to push their own personal agenda.
It seems like pretty much all the mods on this forum are on the exact same page. Most of the current crew actually does a decent job of holding back from being one-sided with their moderation.
Unfortunately, it’s just the majority. 👎
