I’ve run into a bit of a situation—for about the last four weeks, I've been dealing with this specific spot on my skin (roughly 6-7cm above my left hip) where any touch causes pain, and that sensation tends to radiate slightly into my glute. It’s a sharp, moderate kind of pain that triggers right at the point of contact—just a light touch on the skin is enough. Aside from that, there aren't any other symptoms to report. I’m quite active—currently training for a half marathon, I stay fit, eat well, and generally live a healthy lifestyle—and I don't feel any discomfort or issues during my workouts, while resting, or otherwise. Has anyone here dealt with something similar, or does anyone have an idea what this might be?

I did check in with my doctor last week, and she suggested that if this persists for much longer, I should come in for a formal examination. To me, it feels like maybe a nerve is being pinched or irritated, though I’m certainly no expert when it comes to medical stuff.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!
