Greetings to everyone!
I posted a question on the subreddit regarding why I have been denied access to the History sub, and while I received a brief response stating that I have been "partially banned," the reasoning behind this decision remains entirely opaque to me.
In all my time participating in that specific sub, I have never once received a single strike or even a solitary warning; instead, out of nowhere, I am served with a partial ban without any semblance of an explanation.
For heaven's sake, the absolute bare minimum you could do is actually inform a person as to why they are being banned.
I have insulted no one, nor have I harassed anyone—or at the very least, I certainly haven't strayed from the general decorum expected of forum members engaged in discussions which, quite frankly, were centered on the war and were somewhat volatile while the moderators kept insisting, "we have loosened moderation because of the current circumstances."
This is the post I submitted regarding my appeal against the strikes, yet I have encountered nothing but a wall of silence, and I find myself completely unable to access the banned users section.
Can someone please explain what the issue is here? This is truly unacceptable behavior on your part.

Anthony Hill5 said:Fine, thank you; I suppose that answers the question of why I lack access to the History sub, but as for the "why"—I am still waiting for an answer.
Over the last three months, I have accumulated two strikes. The most recent was a 10-point deduction on the Politics sub because I neglected to include a link, and prior to that, I was flagged on the Politics sub last year for cynically using the term "coup," which apparently became a forbidden term at that moment, resulting in a ban that cost me another 10 points—bringing the total to 20 points within a three-month span.
On the History sub, however, I have never received a single strike, yet suddenly, out of thin air, comes a partial ban without any prior warning or disciplinary action.
I have not insulted anyone, I have not brought anyone's mother into it, nor have I called anyone an American (even though others do so quite regularly), and so on and so forth. There is simply no justification for this partial ban.
The only logical explanation left is that I was somehow the "lucky winner" chosen to be banned today, or perhaps the moderation team simply woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
