Hey everyone, I’m looking for some help here if anyone has the bandwidth. I was in the middle of saving some files to my SanDisk 32GB thumb drive when everything just went south—the drive basically bricked itself, and my computer forced a hard reboot.
Now, Windows is insisting that I format the drive just to use it, but every time I hit Cancel, I get hit with an "F: is not accessible" error or a "USB device not recognized" message. It’s a bit of a headache because when I check the Properties, the system claims the capacity is full, even though nothing is actually there.
Is there any realistic way to rescue the data from this thing, or am I looking at a total loss?
