Oh, please, what does Anderlon have to do with naming a baby? It’s not like that. A kid should be called whatever we decide it's going to be—simple as that. Joe, Steve, Frank... you get the idea.

Hey everyone, thanks so much for all the well wishes.

My little guy was rushed over to the children's hospital this morning. He’s dealing with some inflammation, and the doctors think it happened because he swallowed too much amniotic fluid—apparently, it turned greenish when he had an emergency bowel movement during labor. I'm allowed to stay by his side at the hospital the whole time, though, since I'm breastfeeding and all.

At least you get to be right there by his side; if you were in some of those crazy hospitals out in Chicago, they probably would have separated you two already. 🤦

Honestly, I don't blame her. If the baby didn't want to come out, I can't say I blame her—I’d probably try to crawl back into the womb myself if I had the chance.

Thanks, everyone 🙂 everything started off on such a good note. The Baby latched on within minutes of being born. As long as he’s eating well and sleeping through the night, I’m happy. We have less than a week left before we finally get to head home from the hospital.

Poor little guy. He’ll get the hang of it soon enough. Just make sure you two enjoy this week together and make the most of it. Once that fever breaks, everyone will be back home happily dealing with those diapers!🙂
