Thanks, hiddenmarlin14, this is exactly what I needed to see. Honestly, I really ought to stop reading these threads altogether because once I get started, I find it nearly impossible to pull myself away 🕺 😁

Honestly, it looks like two of them actually matched up. All you’re missing now is Stole Harrington out there with a bottle of bourbon, running a roadside tavern and serving up cold beers in front of the local convenience store. 😳

I mean, what’s the big deal? As long as business is moving, you have to look at the bottom line. 🥳

Between the wormwood liqueur and the beer, I wouldn't stand a chance. Unless Zdravkec steps in to back me up, which requires a mountain of paperwork and the right connections. So, basically, nothing. 🙂

🤔 How on earth is a liter of bitters cheaper in Austria than it is back home in the States? 🤔

Chloe Cooper10 I've been sitting here staring at this screen for far too long, nursing a lukewarm cup of coffee that’s gone bitter—much like my outlook on most things lately—and I found myself thinking about what was said. It’s funny, isn't it? How a single observation can trigger such a long, winding chain of thought, much like that time I spent three hours stuck in traffic outside of Chicago because some construction crew decided Tuesday was the perfect day to tear up the interstate. Anyway, I digress. What was actually stated was...
Honestly, it’s almost comical how two of them managed to cross paths like that; I suppose we’re still missing the full picture, though—you know, the whole scene with Stole Harrington clutching his plum brandy while nursing a lukewarm beer outside some dusty corner deli. 😳

To be perfectly honest, we really do miss you around here. 🥳

Chloe Cooper10 said:Between the heavy absinthe and the endless rounds of beer, I don't think I'd make it out alive. The only way through this mess would be if Zdravkec stepped up to provide some sort of support, but that requires a mountain of paperwork, and let’s be honest—paperwork requires connections. And since I don't have those, I'm essentially stuck. Nothing. 🙂

I found myself wondering, quite late into the evening while staring at the bottom of a glass, whether any of our usual regulars actually share some sort of underlying connection or secret affiliation. It’s one of those nagging thoughts that creeps in when you’ve spent far too much time observing the same faces circling the drain of this place. 😳

The American version is superior, isn't it? Price is always the ultimate benchmark for quality. 😳

Do you have any connections? 🙂

Rachel Palmer56 said:I could really go for a coffee and something substantial to eat.🥳

He can grab a bottle and do whatever he wants with it. It's his call.🥳

Tell me those stories if you want. If you lay a hand on that kid, it’s all over for everyone. 🕺

Got some inside connection or what? 🙂

Save the stories for someone else. If you buy the kid a drink, everyone gets a round. 🕺

🤣
If I buy a drink, I'll be set. Fifteen bucks gets me halfway to a buzz. 🥳

Hik🙂

Nah, no way. 🙂

I don't know 🤔 maybe dead tolls in the US are just more expensive than running through Mexico and Canada combined, so that's why. 🤔

I suppose taxes are probably lower over in Austria. And honestly, who knows if this herbal liqueur is even the real deal? It feels like they're just lowballing us and pulling a fast one.

I don't know, I think it's fine. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but then again, maybe that old Walmart used to sell better stuff anyway.🤔

Man, I honestly don't even know what to say to you. I am just counting down the days until I can finally cross the border and head over to Chicago for some serious shopping.
I mean, if the quality actually holds up, the only thing that really makes sense is the tax situation. I’m pretty sure sales tax is lower over there than it is here in the States.
Plus, prices back home have just skyrocketed for absolutely no reason at all.

Not really. I rarely drift away from here...
maybe once in a while to the "what are you listening to" thread, but that’s about it.
Occasionally, I might wander over to check on my peanut supply. 😁
