I still can't quite wrap my head around that result. England-Denmark 1:2? Honestly, I’m sitting here staring at the screen, trying to make sense of how we let that slip through our fingers. It was one of those matches where you just feel the momentum shifting, and once it did, we looked completely lost. I know, I know—I’m probably being too hard on them, and I always tend to vent when I'm frustrated, but there's no point in sugarcoating it. We had opportunities, we had the setup, and then suddenly, everything just fell apart. It’s infuriating to watch a game go from "we've got this" to a complete collapse in such a short span. Just one of those nights where nothing went our way.

Giovani has 8.
Warko has 4.

A correct score plus a correct winner counts as 3+1, right? 😛 That would be 24. 😁 It will be quite difficult for anyone to overtake you at that rate. 😁

By the way, you actually have 31 total.😛

Italy and Spain ended in a 1:1 draw during regulation, right? 🤔
So you didn't pick up a point there—but you did snag 3 for England-Denmark since you nailed both the winner and the score.

Though, if you're really insisting on it, I suppose I could bend the rules and toss you that extra point 😁 even if it won't actually help you win anything. 🙂

Drew Ross2 said:Italy and Spain were tied 1:1 during regulation time, wasn't that the case? 🤔
So you didn't earn the point there. However, for England-Denmark, you earned 3 because you correctly predicted both the winner and the exact score.

But if you really insist, I suppose I could bend the rules and grant you that one extra point. 😁 Though, truthfully, it won't change the fact that you can't win. 🙂

Wait just a moment. A few matches ago, when I called a 1:1 draw in regulation, you told me that extra time counts and that those were your specific rules, correct? 🤔 I was actually referring to England-Denmark, which ended 2:1 after extra time. 😛

Nathan Grant said:USA vs Spain 1:1 (in 90 minutes), then who knows, maybe 3:2 like back in 2018 😁

Nathan Grant said:Wait, hold on—a few games back when I called a 1-1 draw during regulation, you told me extra time counts and that those were your rules, right? 🤔 I was thinking about the England vs. Denmark match—it ended 2-1 after extra time 😛.

Are you kidding me? 🤣 So, we're looking at the score achieved within 90 minutes—or 120 if it goes to extra time, I guess—if there isn't a winner in regulation. 😵

Drew Ross2 said:Are you kidding me right now? Is this some kind of joke? 🤣 So, essentially, the final score is determined by what happens within the regulation 90 minutes—or, if we end up in a deadlock there, we push through the full 120 minutes. 😵

I suppose you could say that. 🤣

So, just to clarify—penalties don't count toward the final result, right? It’s only the regulation 90 minutes or the full 120 if it goes to extra time. As for Italy vs. Spain, I haven't quite made up my mind on that one yet. Still undecided.

Nathan Grant said:if only 🤣

So, penalty shootouts don't count—it’s just the 90 or 120 minutes—meaning Italy vs. Spain would be a draw?

🤣
That's right 🙏

Hard to say—why don't you suggest a prize for the winner then? 😁 😛

As the organizer of this little game, that responsibility falls entirely on you; there is no need to drag anyone else into your management decisions. 😛

Anyway, here is today's result:
Italy vs England 2:1

I have no affection for either side, but following that absolute embarrassment in the semifinals, I find myself leaning toward the Italians. 🙂
