hiddenmarlin14 said:Masks. Masks everywhere. Seriously?
The logic here is completely missing.
This whole pandemic thing isn't even worth the effort,
this COVID nonsense.
Sports are dead, theaters are dark,
restaurants are shuttered,
and remote learning is just a joke—
half the kids are sleeping through their webcams.
It’s a masquerade ball from coast to coast.
The bureaucrats at the CDC put on their daily circus,
dropping new numbers like they're playing a rigged lottery,
while everyone else stays quiet behind paper snout masks.
People wait patiently for their turn at the vaccination clinic,
hoping it’ll somehow ward off the virus,
that the economy stabilizes,
that we get some relief,
and we can finally go back to a decent party.

Ladies and gentlemen, what a performance.
A true masquerade.
A puppet show, a theater of marionettes.
It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, watching this dance unfold right from the stage,
while you sit at home without paying a cent for admission.

If you’re going to play along, be real actors. Wear those masks convincingly.
Walk onto that stage with purpose,
and make sure the floorboards shake under your feet.

This is a total, unprecedented embarrassment.
Don't be nervous.
Don't worry, nobody is paying you for this performance,
and your acting isn't worth much anyway.

Masks! Masks! Masks!
Let the stage tremble!
Let those who haven't lost it yet finally snap.
Let the masquerade descend into pure chaos!

🙂

like Napya 👍

I suspect we already have our winner 😁

Because a mask doesn't say much
It’s always about who’s pulling the strings.

Whether it's paint or grease,
The one in power takes the prize.

No matter what they wear
(Or what they strip down to)
Underneath the mask
The foundation remains exactly the same.

And when the structure starts to fail
The problem is never a small one. 🍿

A light cloud drifts across the sky
everyone thinks I'm the storm
that grin on your faces
I stretch out through various heavenly shapes
but when you feel ashamed
I’ll make sure to note every single one of you down

You guys have lost your minds.
This whole thing isn't even worth the hype,
this whole pandemic mess.
Sports and concerts are dead,
bars are shut down,
school is all online,
and half the kids are just sleeping through their webcams.
It’s just one giant masquerade ball everywhere you look.
The clowns at the CDC are putting on their daily show,
dropping new numbers every day like they’re playing the lottery,
while everyone else stays quiet behind their paper masks.
People are just waiting patiently to get poked with those needles,
hoping they can dodge the sickness,
hoping things just settle down,
hoping they'll get some relief,
and finally get back to going out to parties like normal.

Ladies and gentlemen, what an unforgettable performance.
This is a total masquerade.
A puppet show, a theater of marionettes.
It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience being part of this dance, watching it live from the stage,
all while staying home without having to buy a ticket.

So be real actors—wear your masks convincingly.
Walk onto that stage with confidence.
Make the floorboards shake.

This is one massive, unprecedented embarrassment.
No need to be nervous.
Don't worry, nobody's paying you a salary anyway.
Your acting isn't worth a dime regardless.

Masks! Masks! Masks!
Let the stage shake!
Let everyone who hasn't lost it yet go absolutely wild.
Let this masquerade explode in pure chaos!

🙂

Period. You nailed it, queen.🙏👍🤣

One minute I'm just a mom
The next, I'm some femme fatale
Ready for you in bed—whatever you need
Then back in the kitchen, playing the perfect housewife
Or at the office, being a total pro
But by the weekend, I’m feeling a little restless
I suppose these are all just masks
But you—you actually know who I really am

I’ll probably drop something in for the contest once I’ve finished stripping off at least half of my masks.🤣
congratulate Duke on the art of keeping a cloud hanging over his head; no matter where she goes, her angel stays by her side. There were pictures, there were assignments, and there were contests. 😍

Maria Wright62, killer lines... totally fits that "bad intentions, bad actions" vibe.

For real, Maria Wright62 is my top pick.

When it's a masquerade, I guess it doesn't really matter what kind of party it is.

We’ve basically been living through a carnival with these masks on all year, so I guess I don't really see what one single carnival day would be special about 😁

Exactly. That mask is the real deal. It’s pure NNNI style—you clearly get the deeper meaning behind 😬

Glad I could give you a laugh. 🤣

@Sarah Mendoza22/">@@Sarah Mendoza22 🙏

Honestly, I'd probably vote for almost all of them.

I’m actually a fan of Megan Gray4's cookbook and that girl with the key during the pep rally 🙂 plus the Chernobyl mask with those bold drawn-on eyebrows is pretty cool. As for Ruby, I guess I’ll open my umbrella, even though I’m already wearing a raincoat 🤣

EDIT: Guys, don't get worked up; you guys aren't exactly bringing much to the table here 😳

I guess we’re missing a massive hit from Kesovija for someone to cover on Voccaro.
