I was reading about our friend Sarah, and it seems like every single one of her struggles stems from relationship issues or constantly measuring herself against her mother—even though she hasn't actually mentioned her mother once. She basically confessed all of this during that infamous discussion regarding Biserka, that model whose son tracks exactly how many rolls of toilet paper they go through😁. I suppose she realized, or maybe just assumed I’d caught on that it’s all really just an Oedipal complex, and she ended up getting banned because

I suppose one really has to be careful these days about what they write, how they phrase things, when and where they post... just to avoid accidentally exposing some corner of their own psyche that isn't exactly something to be proud of, even if they aren't consciously aware of it themselves... or worse, stumbling into a self-diagnosis, heaven forbid.

It’s essentially like space exploration; it’s through this kind of deep digging that we finally start to get a real, clearer understanding of our own internal world.

Yeah, though most of it feels like chasing shadows in an empty room.

But you have to realize that space isn't actually empty; there’s no such thing as a true vacuum out there. It's never truly nothing—there's always some kind of gas or cosmic dust floating around everywhere...

Imagine nothingness? I suppose that just doesn't work.
Is a little bit of cosmic dust, stray gas, and space debris really enough to constitute absolute nothingness?

People love to judge and call others out, but honestly? I think it's just that we don't have the right tools yet to truly express what we believe. That doesn't feel like fair play to me.

The world is spinning, and life is all about that raw power—you know, that pure energy.

Exactly... when someone says they feel empty, they aren't talking about physics. They mean it spiritually. You know, that deep exhaustion from dealing with all the injustices in the world.

Are you really suggesting that a bunch of cosmic dust, gas, and space debris counts as "nothingness"?

Look, if there’s even a tiny fraction of something present, then it’s technically *something*, which means by definition, it isn't nothing. Absolute nothingness simply doesn't exist...

Man, it’s actually pretty rare to hit exactly 0.00 degrees Celsius.
It only stays there for a few minutes before it dips to -0.01 or jumps up to +0.01, right?

Exactly, and even if you did manage to hit that precise 0.00 mark, all it really means is that water stops being a liquid in those little puddles; it’s still water, obviously, just existing in an entirely different state of matter.

I mean, yeah... just like how there's no such thing as "Year Zero."
(Though I really wish there was a "Zero Dollars" month for those days when I'm between jobs.)

But zero still exists, doesn't it? Yet, what exactly *is* zero? Is it just absolute nothingness, an empty void? Or perhaps it’s more like a transition point, a threshold where one state of matter shifts into another, or energy transforms into something else entirely?

The starting point... {physical zero just doesn't exist—you can't actually have zero things on your skin. We've got hair, we've got body parts, if we put clothes on, we’re wearing something, and if we take them off, we’re still just ourselves. So, proving a physical zero is pretty much impossible. But a mathematical zero? That definitely exists—like having zero dollars in your wallet or zero minutes of intimacy. You know?}

Or perhaps it lies just beyond the reach of our perception? I suppose the moment we attempt to contemplate "nothing," it immediately transforms into "something"...
Everything is essentially nothing until a mind arrives to observe it, I guess. Maybe nothingness is actually the only thing that truly exists, independent of human consciousness—liberated by our very inability to grasp it. Once something is understood or defined, it becomes limited. In that sense, nothingness, much like everything else, remains limitless. The only real distinction is that everything else is perceived, whereas nothingness is not. If we were somehow able to perceive nothingness, then nothingness would be the only thing left in existence...

- What's in the fridge?
- Nothing.

You could probably stretch any abstract concept you care to, all the way to absolute nothingness. Freedom, truth, goodness, happiness... they all eventually dissolve into nothing.

Zero actually holds four—even in English, it’s just zero. So when you picture a zero, think about four {a there are four corners to the world, four seasons, four suits in a deck of cards}

Go ahead, try pushing any abstract concept you want toward the absolute. Freedom, truth, goodness, happiness... they all dissolve into nothing.

There's air, shelves, and ice.🤔
